My wife and I used Exquisite Caterers for our wedding in September. Like most couples we procrastinated a bit in finding a caterer. Exquisite Caterers was the first caterer we visited. The owner, was professional and diligent. He sensed we were in a time crunch and really took care of us. We ended up using his company not only for the food, but the equipment rentals as well. Exquisite Caterers knew we weren\'t working with the largest budget and was more than willing to work with us when it came to purchasing our own alcohol and plates, napkins, etc to save cost. Exquisite Caterers made sure our wedding went smoothly so my wife, guests and I could just enjoy the evening. I must also add they have amazing vegan food. My wife and I are two very happy customers.

Exquisite Caterers were the caterers/event planners for two of my birthdays and my wedding.\r\nEach party was about 100 guests.\r\nI cannot begin to tell you the sumptuousness of the fare and how exquisitely it was set up and served.\r\nWe were able to choose from a number of menus, one better than the other, each showing not only a great selection of foods, but also foods of great continental and domestic variety. \r\nAside from this. They listened very carefully to the particular needs of not only the host, but also of the guests.\r\nThey made sure that the menus were customized to meet everyone\'s tastes and limitations.\r\nAt no time were we limited or stopped from making suggestions and having our wishes met.\r\nIn short, if you want a magnificent dinner to satisfy the most discerning palettes Exquisite Caterers is your answer.

Thank you!!!! We used Exquisite Caterers this Sunday for my Wedding shower and everything was top notch. Very pleasant to work with!!! The food was all fresh!! We ordered veggie eggrolls, taquitos... both were fried on spot. Fajitas were as well!!! Everyone was ranting and raving!! Thank you again

I wanted to take a brief moment to thank Howie and David of Exquisite Catering for the unbelievable job they did with our sons Bar Mitzvah. This was our 2nd affair at Marlboro Jewish Center, as our daughter's Bat Mitzvah was held there 5 years ago.

When we first went to meet with Howie we were amazed to see how much money they invested to improve both rooms. The cocktail room renovation is spectacular and the lighting system they installed is amazing.

The cocktail hour was amazing as was the dinner service. What impressed us about Howie was the passion that radiated from him from the moment we first met him to when we were thanking him for an affair that our son, and us, will always remember.

Dave was amazing in every way. He made us feel so comfortable and calmed our nerves when we were anxious. He was so creative and gave us fun, personalized suggestions to make our menu super special! The food was amazing, we got rave reviews from all our guests (many of whom were not jewish and reported some worries about the stigma of kosher food) Everyone could not believe the amount of food, and the quality of it! I could not be happier with my choice of caterer and cannot thank Dave and his crew enough for making our day so special!

Really really excellent! Howie and his team did a fantastic job creating our dream wedding. The tables and tent looked gorgeous and EVERYTHING that day went off without a hitch! The food was incredible (we got a lot of compliments!) and the staff was extremely professional. We even had someone assigned to the two of us so that we got to try some of the cocktail hour items (someone came out to us during the formal portraits!) and we never needed to visit the buffet or bar for a refill! They operate like a well orchestrated symphony of moving parts, without any intrusiveness or complications. The only reason I could not give them a full 5.0/5.0 was because there was a shortage of crepes and a high demand so some people were disappointed... that being said, they don't usually do crepes and accommodated us to make sure we had everything we wanted and they were delicious! The price is pretty standard, I'd say, based on the shopping around we did... but the value is exceptional. We can't thank Exquisite Caterers enough for helping us have our PERFECT wedding day :)

The food was amazing and kosher! We had to use this caterer because of the venue we chose but I was not disappointed in the least. They were nice to deal with and gave us a tasting at their commisary but the food at the event was even better than the tasting!! I recommend them highly

There is not enough time or typing space to express in detail what a negative experience my husband and I had with Exquisite. The SparkNotes version is as follows…

The owner, Howie, is a sheisty business man, period. Despite us signing a contract on an agreed upon amount per person 1 year prior to our April 2022 wedding, he tried to finagle more money out of us towards the very end so that he could make up additional costs related to inflation. We did not give in. He also requested cash only payment to be given on the day of the wedding, which, in itself is shady. The entire night, he was rude to the wait-staff (which was provided by our venue) and ill-mannered towards our magnificent Coordinator. At one point in the night, while all guests were waiting 45 minutes for meals, I personally took the liberty of approaching Howie to air my grievances. Especially being the bride, I would not normally let something like this interfere with my night, but the catering situation was that absurd and nothing like what we had signed a contract for. Howie was very defensive and told me that my expectations and timeline were unrealistic. This could not have been the case considering I got confirmation from Nicole, the coordinator we had been working with from Exquisite, that our reception timeline was perfectly fine.

The food at our wedding ended up being an extreme disappointment from start to finish. He snubbed us on cocktail hour, taking the liberty of replacing a handful of picked hors d'oeuvres (our meat options) to what he felt was beneficial to his pocket (less expensive, vegetarian options). Despite the promise of a plentiful and amazing cocktail hour, the passed hors d'oeuvres were scarce and not circulated accordingly and the tables of food were embarrassingly bare. All 3 of the entree option's were less than appetizing. They were served 45 minutes later than what was planned and agreed upon. The meat came out bleeding and cold, the fish came out fishy and cold, and the butternut squash risotto came out looking and tasting like porridge. The dessert was sold to us as being an overwhelming number of chef-made sweets to be passed around the room. We only saw 1/3 of what was promised to us, dessert cookies and cakes that you could have picked up from the local grocery store. Our food tasting was amazing, so we still can’t understand how the food on our wedding day could have turned out the way it did.

Overall, we truly feel that because we did not give into Howie’s B.S of raising our per person prices, he sabotaged the catering. Nicole Lee was the only positive part of our Exquisite Catering experience, but even she could not save the catering disaster at our wedding. Thankfully we had a magnificent venue, the most amazing bar and bartending staff (provided by the venue), a fabulously talented band, and of course, the best guests in the world!!
