Shadia assisted me with several wedding planning activities and was my day-of coordinator for my wedding in August 2018. I cannot speak highly enough of Shadia; from the moment I first met with her - when I was an incredibly overwhelmed bride-to-be who had next to nothing taken care of when my wedding was 6 months away - she immediately made me feel at ease and was there to help with whatever I needed! Shadia helped me find and book my DJ, photographer, videographer, chivari chair rental vendor, wedding cake, and also provided hair/makeup vendors. Leading up to my wedding she also assembled my wedding tchochkie/gifts and came with me on several of my vendor appointments (to reception hall, cake vendor, etc.) Day of my wedding she took care of anything/everything I asked of her - and more. At the church she set up my church pew flowers, ensured bridal party and extended family were seated where they should be and had their appropriate flowers (corsages, bootineers, ets.), handed out programs, directed photographers/videographers as needed. At the reception hall she custom tied sashes on the chivari chairs, set up the placecards table, set up cocktail tables, put up extra decorations on captains/head table, ensured the reception hall set up tables per the design style requested, set up guest book station, ensured the slideshow AV had been tested (and then ensured the hall fixed when it was not working properly), assisted the florist as needed in setup, handed out tips to vendors, and these are just the things I know about! Shadia went above and beyond what I could have ever DREAMED to hope for in a wedding planner/day-of coordinator and personally, she is warm, friendly, and calming person that any brides and/or grooms-to-be would be lucky to have in their corner!
