Working with Emily and the Events by Emily team was such a wonderful experience from start to finish! We got the partial planning package, and Emily was an invaluable resource (and cheerleader!) during the entire process. Not only did she work with us as a couple, she also worked with my mother in law to plan some really awesome handmade decorations for the escort card display and dance floor. Emily coordinated SO much for us behind the scenes and took a TON of stress off of our plates. She was also a great source of advice for what we wanted to focus our effort and resources on to get the biggest bang for our buck and make sure everything was cohesive. Emily was also helpful with little questions that don’t come up until you’re planning a wedding, like the order of the first dance/cake cutting/etc. The day of the wedding was an absolute breeze and Emily and her team did an incredible job to make everything run smoothly! They made sure we had cocktails (and lots of water since it was a hot day), as well as appetizers so we didn’t miss out. Overall, working with Emily and her team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day, and we loved working with her!

Emily is incredibly sweet, friendly, efficient, and responsible! We used the wedding management package and I’m so glad we did. Since our first call, I felt so comfortable with her. She was patient, thorough, responsive, and organized throughout the planning process. She helped with coordinating all of our vendors and making sure everyone was on the same page to ensure our day ran smoothly. She was so calming and fun on our wedding day! Having her there allowed me to be fully present throughout the day, knowing that she was on top of everything! Shannon made sure everything was just perfect for when we arrived to our reception venue. They were the most incredible team and I’m so glad they were part of our day!

Emily is just incredible. She cares so much about making your day special, she's phenomenal. We got the partial planning and day of coordination package. She would always make time to text us back whenever we needed anything, coordinated with vendors for us, gave us suggestions, multiple meetings (over zoom because we don't live in Pittsburgh), was so great at coordinating with the venue even when the venue staff said conflicting things.

It is 100% because of Emily that our wedding day went off without a hitch. While we were a little bit busy getting ready on our wedding day, our parents told us Emily was NON STOP running around day of making sure we didn't see any mishaps or deal with any vendors or anything. The ceremony, reception hall, cocktail hour area...all of it was set up EXACTLY how we planned. Emily was a godsend and we're so glad we didn't settle on the first few planners we talked to - she really, truly cares about what she does and has a passion for weddings. You will not regret hiring Emily for your special day, she will work tirelessly to ensure it truly is everything you planned it to be.

Emily was so helpful from the get go. She is so down to earth, kind, organized, punctual, and will support you and stick up for you. Emily was there for us for a tour of both our venues, our rehearsal and on our wedding day. The day went so smoothly because of her, even with the rain and outdoor venue. So so happy we hired Emily so we could enjoy the day and have all the planning be easier.

Emily was able to make my vision come to life, then some. I am honestly blown away by some of the things she was able to make happen. She took my terrible description of something I wanted and somehow knew exactly what I meant. She made my entire day so much better and I don't know what I would have done without her.

She met with me at the venue site months before the wedding (which was an hour out of her way.) Right before the wedding, she gave me numerous tips (that I never would've thought of) on how to survive the weeks leading up to the wedding and tips for the day of. The week before the wedding, she called all vendors to make sure they were on top of everything. She was prompt the day of the wedding and made sure everything went smoothly. If you’re wondering whether you should hire Emily or not, this is your sign to do it! It is 100% worth it. Emily helped with timeline, day of decor (putting up and taking down), putting out small fires, helping with ceremony timing, and coordination between vendors. I definitely recommend! She was very friendly, prompt, and professional.

We decided to plan a backyard wedding in only 2 months. Even though it was going to be at our house, I knew I didn’t want to have to worry about setup or dealing with last minute issues. I always thought day of coordination was a splurge and not a necessity but wow I was proven wrong. After talking to Emily, she was able to enlist one of her team members, Lauren, to handle the day of coordination. Lauren was LITERALLY AMAZING!!! In the amount of time it took me to get my hair blown out she created the most magical backyard atmosphere, wrangled all of the vendors and dealt with everything and everyone. I had nothing to do but get married. Even my husband, who could have cared less about any wedding detail, said Lauren was a godsend! I cannot stress how wonderful Emily and Lauren were to work with. Don’t even think, just book them, you will not be sorry!!
