My wife and I had the band for our wedding in August of 2010. They could not have been any better. They were easy to work with, accommodating to our wants and needs, professional and INCREDIBLE live. I am very much a music person and having a good band was a very important component to us having the perfect wedding party. You will not be disappointed using them.

We booked BCS Express through Events by DSE for a Mardi Gras fundraiser for our nonprofit organization. As with any fundraiser, our main concern for our live entertainment was affordability and quality, and we were surprised that we didn't have to sacrifice either for the first time! Events by DSE were incredibly easy to work with through the entire process and gave us an INCREDIBLE rate for the talent and energy put into our event. They took the time to learn several New Orlean's themed Mardi Gras songs to add to their already extensive repertoire. Even with the travel to Winston-Salem and back, the group was on time and ready for showtime even ahead of schedule, something I've NEVER had with other groups. Our guests RAVED about the music and have already requested we bring the group back next year, over a band from NOLA we had used in previous years, that cost 3 times as much.

I cannot recommend working with them enough. If you want excellent service at a great cost, do yourself a favor and book them immediately!!

Bull City Syndicate was exactly what we were looking for in a band. They advertise themselves as a big horn band and that's precisely what they are. We went with the 9 piece band that included 4 horns, I believe, and everyone we spoke with during and after the wedding was raving about the music. We didn't even provide a song list; they just played to the crowd and it was a huge success. They played some music at the ceremony as well (a trumpet and classical guitar): we had them play Hallelujah which sounded great. They also set up a few to play some light jazz at the cocktail hour. They are true musicians who don't need much guidance at all. You could tell they were very professional and had honed their skills over their lifetimes. There were times when it seemed they were kind of non-chalant leading up to the wedding, which was a little frustrating because we were freaking out that we didn't have everything together, but they apparently knew exactly what they were doing.
We highly recommend Bull City Syndicate to anyone planning a wedding or big event as they certainly will not disappoint.

Thanks a lot Steve and the rest of the Syndicate. Y'all made our wedding very special and memorable. We really appreciate it.

Bull City Syndicate was INCREDIBLE!! All of my guests were raving about them and asked where I found them. Once the dancing started, the dance floor stayed packed the whole night. Definitely worth every penny. If I ever have another big event, I will think of them first!

Steve Baker and Bull City Syndicate played our wedding last year, and we felt like we made exactly the right decision. Steve was very professional throughout the preparation process and was easy to work with, even learning the song for our first dance. The night of the wedding, he and the band gave us no problems, arriving on time and setting up without issue. They did a great job playing a mix of songs that everyone could dance to, and the dance floor was full the entire night - they are terrifically entertaining and high energy!
