Paul Sheehan at Event Lights USA is an absolute treasure. I knew that to make the day special we would need some additional lighting support, and he absolutely blew us away - and was flexible with pricing, too. He works wonderfully with other vendors, is prompt and responsive, and REALLY knows his craft. (Just check out the photos!) Hire Paul - your event will look incredible, no matter the occasion.

Paul was amazing! He provided lighting for us at The River View, and it was even better than I had imagined. I told him I wanted blue and purple with a lot of color, and he did an incredible job. It created the exact atmosphere I was hoping for.

Paul was also incredibly flexible. We had an unexpected family emergency and had to postpone the wedding, but he made the date change so easy for us. He attended both wedding walk throughs and offered great insights when it came to lighting with the linens.

Paul is a true gem. We were considering a few lighting companies, and what really made the difference for us was his willingness to do a FaceTime walkthrough (we lived out of state at the time and he went to the venue), where he talked us through what would make the most sense for our wedding reception. This was all before we’d signed a contract or made any financial commitment- a huge investment on his part. He is a master at his craft and 100% executed on our vision of using light to bring warmth and magic to our reception. He was also extremely respectful of our budget, and was so patient as we worked through various suggestions to make our vision come to life.

Our wedding venue, while beautiful, was a little sparse in terms of lighting and decor (before and after photos attached). I had a general vision and some various inspiration images of the look that I wanted, but no clear direction. I reached out to Paul for a general quote, and instead of just giving me a price for what I had in mind, he asked to schedule a walk-through of the venue first so he could thoroughly check out the electrical capabilities, existing house lights and controls, and even the direction of the sun to understand all of the variables and options that the space would allow. He asked questions and made suggestions that I never would’ve thought of. He then put together a very transparent quote that stuck to our desired budget, and he was flexible and reachable whenever I had questions or wanted to make adjustments. He showed up extra early on our wedding day to make sure all lighting was strung up and appropriately placed before other vendors arrived so he would have time to make adjustments to aim lights on the alter, buffet, cake, and DJ. When we walked into our venue I actually gasped because it was even more stunning than I had imagined, and he even added some additional lighting to liven up the dance floor that made it so much more fun. We had a ton of candles and flowers on the tables and he adjusted the color temperature and the uplighting to perfectly complement everything - our guests came up to us all night to tell us how stunning the venue looked. He stuck around throughout the entire wedding to adjust controls, brightness and color temperature to account for daylight levels and activity. All in all, Paul was a pleasure to work with, respected our budget, and was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, communicative and creative. He also took some amazing photos of the reception that I didn’t anticipate but am so grateful for!

The uplighting and dance floor lighting transformed an otherwise boring plain white wedding space. Paul is professional, thorough, and wants to make your event beautiful. He explains what everything is, which is helpful to clients who don't know lights are an integral part of decor.

We’re so grateful to have worked with Paul and the Event Lights USA team. We had been planning our wedding for about 2 years and Paul came in just a few months before the event. Of all our vendors, Paul was the easiest to work with and truly understood every part of our vision. He can do anything from colorful and creative to simple yet stunning. We had several changes as the wedding got closer and Paul was easy to get in touch with and very flexible to make the changes we wanted.

As someone who has worked in the events industry for 6+ years, the last thing you want is to plan this incredible party and not have all of your incredible art lit up. Paul did highlighting, gobos, washing of the tables, and uplights. It was worth every penny and the best investment because we could see all of the beauty of our wedding throughout the night. DJ lighting is very different from what Paul does and I HIGHLY suggest hiring him to light up your night for the start of your forever!!

Paul truly went above and beyond!

I met Paul at a wedding event after I had won a half off deal at this bridal expo. He kept in touch with me very frequently via text, email, etc. Paul even made arrangements to do a walk through at my venue since he had not been there before. I don't make decisions easily so I left some things up to his expertise and it was the best decision I ever made. I had uplighting inside my venue, outside the venue, I had my centerpieces lit up, the bar, our table, and I had a gobo with our names on the dance floor. It was all perfect. Our venue kept his information because they said it was the best lit that anyone had EVER done to the place! We got complements all night about how beautiful he lit the place up. He also did our photo booth and I was able to get all of the pictures along with a print for the guests in a what I think was a 4x6 picture. I got EVERYTHING sent to me which was really nice. Paul and his assistant showed up at the venue the day of and got straight to setting everything up and it was seamless and easy. I didn't have to worry about anything that Paul and his assistant had their hands on. He was also incredibly patient when I found something crazy on the internet and texted him with it going "WHAT IS THIS?!" (which I did multiple times). He also snapped a ton of pictures and videos that he sent to me which I was not expecting but was a pleasant surprise. I can't say enough about how much my guests and I enjoyed his work. You will not go wrong hiring EventLightsUSA!
