I would hands down recommend Eugene to anyone looking to get a photographer for their wedding.

The entire process was made very simple, we started out talking through his contact form, but as I am not from Las Vegas, he helped me plan the entire wedding basically. He gave me ideas and suggestions as to what would work better for photos and for the guests! Contacting him throughout the process was simple and I always heard back quickly, if that was through the portal he had set up or through text messages.

As an amateur photographer myself I had ideas of what types of photographs I wanted in mind, Eugene and I had discussed this and for those with less experience, he sends a form with questions that help you think about what you want on your wedding day. Once the time got closer to the wedding Eugene sent me a whole schedule of the day (literally we were spending the whole day together from 6AM to after dinner)! This included all the photography locations, times, who will be there, etc. He was basically our wedding planner!

On the day of we started in Death Valley and Eugene and the assistant photographer were comforting and helped make us feel less awkward. It was very comfortable with them both and though it was super early it was a fun enough morning. We all (separately) drove back to Las Vegas and they met us at our hotel room and took some photos of the dress/suit, all the personal items. From there we went to the chapel, things went a tiny askew, but Eugene held it all together. After the wedding we got all the photos we had listed out to him with all the groupings we had asked for (so important!) We then headed to our reception where they continued to take photos of all our guests and the venue.

Eugene literally had our preview photos to us THAT NIGHT! They were everything I had asked for, sweeping vistas, stunning views and my new husband and I looking... well, great! Some of them I had felt weird doing, but those were the best ones.

TLDR: Get Eugene as your photographer, he takes amazing photographs and you absolutely will not regret it. If you can, get out of Las Vegas with him, he does the best work out in nature.

Usually photographers are specialized in either nature or people. But what I like most with Eugene is that he catches the best moment for both. I took photos with him in LA and Korea, and whenever I see the photos, I remember the scenery, the weather, my feeling of that moment. Even though I am not a professional model and actually very shy in front of the camera, he gives me confidence.

It was truly the most unforgettable photo session with Eugene in the Joshua tree national park and Palm springs! My husband and I are so happy that we could meet him. All the spots he found and suggested were amazing and we still remember every single moments that we had with him. We are really grateful for his passion and efforts!

Before we met Eugene, we had a chance to meet big companies that had agents. However, we had difficulty in communicating what we wanted and there was a lag in understanding. Eugene Kim was very efficient and would always make time to reply and answer any questions.
