Ethan is so professional and an incredibly talented photographer! Very very easy to work with! He made our day perfect! We cannot thank him enough.

Where to begin?! Ethan was such an absolute pleasure to work with, and we are so in love with our photos! Neither of us had ever been professionally photographed before, but Ethan made us feel so comfortable and really put us at ease, which also really shows in our photos. He was a blast to work with and, to top it off, he is incredibly talented. We did an engagement shoot a few months before our wedding and we are so glad we did- it gave us the chance to meet Ethan and get comfortable around him and the camera before our wedding day. We were so happy with how those turned out, and our wedding was no different. We did a first look so that we could get portraits and family photos done ahead of time; my only regret is not giving that more time and getting the bulk of our group shots done beforehand because, though Ethan is great with those shots, he really shines with candid shots (which is one of the reasons we hired him!). Ours came out wonderfully. We truly recommend Ethan Gaskill – we would hire him again in a heartbeat!

I am a person who never likes a photo I’m in. Shys away from any camera, and hates the overall experience of taking pictures. Well that all changed when Ethan Gaskill was my wedding photographer. He was so easy to get in contact with, reliable, punctual, and professional from booking him till receinving the photos after the wedding. He understood what I wanted and how I wanted to feel and he worked around me. He was more like a guest at my wedding than a photographer. He also took lead and gave clear directions so no moment was uncomfortable. And his pictures were flawless. I’ve never felt more beautiful or had so many precious memories available to me. Looking through his work was like reliving the day all over again. He is a great wedding photographer and an amazing artist!

Ethan's natural talent and utter passion for photography is evident in the way he works and most importantly in his final product. He was very easy to work with and extremely accommodating. My husband and I did our wedding planning from abroad, but this posed as no problem for him - even with a 6 hour time difference. Ethan was professional and responsive. He took into account our wishes and wants while keeping the integrity of his photography style. In return, Ethan gave us hundreds of beautiful images which we get to cherish forever! Ethan Gaskill was one of the best choices I made for my wedding. His photographs are beautiful and his professionalism was unmatched. He was also willing to work within my budget, and willing to travel outside of Wilmington. His ability to capture the small, intimate moments, and to truly tell a story is a rare find in any photographer. Through his photographs, I was able to see the smiles, laughter, and details that I missed being busy as the bride. His soft, romantic, and warm photographs make him stand out in a sea of just average wedding photography. He has the technical knowledge and creates genuine quality photography - something extremely important, especially in situations like my location where the lighting was, I'm sure, difficult to meter. Ethan was/is great. Photography can be hard because a lot of the time (especially in our case) it's hard to know exactly what you want out of your pictures personally. Ethan talks to you and gets to know you and bases his picture selection off of who you are. He's extremely talented; knowing how to capture your true personality delivering some of the best quality pictures. I would highly recommended him to anyone that wants someone that truly cares about your story and how to portray that in the best way in your pictures.

Ethan was an absolute joy to work with. He made my fiancé and I feel extremely comfortable throughout the whole shoot even though we were both nervous to be in front of the camera. The pictures are insanely beautiful and you can tell he puts a lot of work into what he does. My husband contacted Ethan with Ethan Gaskill Photography to shoot a surprise engagement session. After seeing our engagement pictures, I KNEW Ethan had to shoot our wedding. I always feel incredibly awkward when I get professional pictures done, but Ethan did not make me feel or look that way. Half of the time, I did not even know he was taking pictures, but somehow he captured the most amazing shots I have ever seen.

The wedding day went by so fast, it was nice to look through the pictures and relive the day. Ethan did not miss out on any details. He included pictures of (but not limited to) our centerpieces, cookie table, hot chocolate bar, and floral arrangements. He also captured pictures of our guests laughing, smiling, and enjoying themselves.

And most importantly (yes, I’m being selfish here) he made me look and feel the most beautiful I’ve ever felt. Ethan shot our wedding on a chilly 20 degree day and allowed me plenty of breaks between shots to warm up. He was incredibly easy to work with and very professional.

When it comes to your Wedding Day, being comfortable with the person that you have hired for your photography and their skills are two of the most important things. Working with Ethan was extremely easy knowing that he was able to capture all the small and grand moments of our Wedding day so effortlessly. His talent lies in capturing beauty in all of these moments and not forcing a ton of posed pictures. Our love was on display and visible in all of the pictures. Our engagement photo session was a great experience as well. I don't love being in front of a camera. Ethan had a way of putting me at ease and letting me and my fiance (now wife) be ourselves and that came through in all of our AMAZING pictures. I cannot begin to recommend Ethan enough and hope that you are lucky enough to be able to use him for all of your photography needs.
