While we were venue shopping we came across etch films. It was the first wedding video we really watched and paid attention to all details, and we quickly realized etch delivered high quality material.
As we continued our videography research, since etch is located in SoCal, and we were getting married in NorCal, we were searching for their quality in our area. After dozens of videos we weren’t finding anything that we wanted, or rather anything that would match their quality of product. We asked if etch would be willing travel, and we were given a quick response, “of course!”
Beyond the stunning cinematography we first witnessed, their attention to detail was readily apparent from the beginning. It began with their intake questionnaire, asking us to detail our preferences for the video (musical genres, 1 vs. 2 songs, vibes etc) and to comment on any additional requests.
On the day of, the etch crew were so easy to work with, making us feel extra special. They were so personable, my husband kept trying to entice them onto the dance floor just to enjoy the party!
Once the final product was complete, it arrived in a super cute package with popcorn and candy! The video truly captured the essence of the event. The editing was expertly timed, the cinematic effects were captivating, and the quality of the video was stunning. But most of all, what we loved, is our video is unique to us, and is not video footage placed into a cookie cutter video. There is nothing like OUR wedding video!

Etch Films exceeded our expectations and captured our wedding day PERFECTLY!!! The wedding video was one of the most important aspects of our wedding (in my eyes) so I knew we had to choose someone epic to capture it and edit it to perfection. I would recommend Jordan and Julie to anyone getting married that has a pulse - they are awesome! From the very beginning, they have been nothing more than professional, helpful and accommodating, making this part of the wedding planning process not only extremely easy, but enjoyable. When I went on a search for the right videographer, I knew the type of look I wanted for our special film. I wanted something modern and fun but still sentimental. I started watching a lot of wedding videos from videographers that were recommended by other vendors and while that work was decent - all the videos seem to follow the same format and style (i.e. a lot of footage on the officiant, vows, etc etc). It just wasn't what I wanted. During my search, I came across Etch and found the wedding video of Jordan and Julie and I knew that they would get my vision. They were so easy to work with, very responsive, and it was obvious they had the talented eye to create something both on trend and classic. Not only did Jordan fly down for my wedding, but he was so fun and upbeat.

When we got our wedding video back, I was so excited with the outcome. Everyone who has seen it, tells me how much they love it! The song choice, the selected clips, and the way the entire film was put together that captured all the special moments we had.

Jordan and Julie are insanely talented and all around amazing people. My husband works in production so hiring the right videographer was really important to us. We poured over videos and clips until our wedding planner sent the info for Etch Films. We watched Jordan and Julie's wedding video and instantly fell in love. We added drone shots and worked hand in hand with Jordan to pick the music and tone of the film. This was huge because when the film was sent to us (in the CUTEST box with popcorn and candy) it truly felt like it was ours. The sound was perfect, music impeccably timed and the shots captured us and our friends/family perfectly. They even did the COOLEST time lapse so we could watch the fog roll in.
