Hi friends! So glad you found your way here, to my little corner of the internet! I am an all-inclusive, documentary style photographer based in south central Pennsylvania.

Becoming a mother to my four amazing children opened my eyes to an entirely new world of wonder, beauty and love. Those are the things + the moments that I strive to capture for the families that I serve. My passion is capturing real moments, laughter + love through story-telling style sessions using prompts rather than posing. ('Stand here, say cheese!' doesn't ever really show any amount of a genuine smile or personality, now does it?)

Today, Erin Fortney Photography offers many story-telling sessions and specializes in birth story sessions that give parents an opportunity to capture one of the most magical experiences of their lives, as well as my popular fresh 48 sessions, for those who wish to document their new babe's first moments + fleeting, tiny features without having their entire labor and delivery photographed. I am proud to have an incredible relationship with many local hospitals and medical professionals who are very familiar with me personally as well as my work. I have even had my work featured by local hospitals in their ad campaigns as well as photographed many of the local staff's own births, babies + family milestones.
