Where to begin! Emily did the most incredible job capturing our engagement photos in Chicago. The afternoon was a COLD one and it started snowing mid shoot (which made the photos all the more magical), but she made it so fun and guided us through the process since this was our first time having our photos taken and we weren't exactly how to pose, etc. She had so many creative ideas for shots and was also great about asking us for our thoughts as well. I cannot recommend Emily enough -- she's seriously the best!

Emily was amazing to work with from the initial coffee meeting to planning out our photos for our big day! She is very organized and went above and beyond for us on our wedding day. I love going through the photos to relive the story of our day. The quality and amount of photos are incredible. Emily was a dream from start to finish for our wedding! At our first meeting she was prepared, asked great questions and gave important input about timeline and how long certain shoots should take. She sent me easy documents to complete when we officially chose her that further dug into our wedding day vision and the types of photos that were high priority for us.

The day of she was a calming presence. She meshed well with the bridal party and family. She kept things light while still staying on schedule and also being flexible with 100° temperatures. She figured out how to get good pictures while keeping us in the air conditioning as much as possible. I would hire her 100 times over and recommend her to everyone!

Throughout our planning she was so responsive -- even in the midst of this crazy COVID wedding bottleneck era -- and had great recommendations as we shaped our timeline for the day. Day of, she was amazing at keeping us on time, pivoting plans based on weather, posing us through portrait shots, coordinating family shots and beyond, all while being totally breezy and fun and hyping us up for our ceremony. I really don't know how she does it and would love to know her secret! The photos we received are even more magical than we could have imagined, and we'll forever be grateful to Emily for so beautifully capturing the happiest day of our lives. Thanks Emily!!!

Emily Williams photographed two weddings we attended so we reached out to her for her photo skills. Her images are stunning, but what really solidified her as our perfect photographer was her warm, bubbly nature. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! Emily also went above and BEYOND, scouting our picture locations ahead of time and planning spots to go to in case of rain!!! Cannot recommend her enough.

I can't say enough good things about Emily. She is a master of capturing the essence of YOUR wedding day, no posing or awkward hand placement required. Most of the day, she is an incredible documentarian — capturing so many candid moments that you'll relive the day just seeing them. And when it's 'official photo time,' she is such a force of calm and chill that everyone relaxes and enjoys themselves. She even makes group photos fun by taking them in action instead of in stilted poses. She is such a joyful light. Simply the best.
