We love Emma!!!! She is professional, responsive to e-mail, sweet and laid back. Emma balances a calm demeanor with firm control over day of logistics and timing. She goes beyond just a wedding photographer to provide bridal advice on how to enjoy the process, rather than simply check things off a list. My husband and I opted to do an engagement session with her ahead of time, and we are both so glad we did because we felt we could relax and be ourselves on the wedding day. She worked with our travel schedules, and agreed to meet us in my hometown of Atlanta, even during rush hour on a Friday. She takes beautiful photos!! Compared to other photographers my friends have used, Emma has a quick turnaround time for your photos and a convenient process to view them using an online site - a huge detail that many brides forget to ask about when booking a photographer. At every step along the way, Emma was a calming presence. Emma was very flexible, and went above and beyond to secure both a second shooter and a third shooter when she found out she was expecting. Emma was fabulous to work with! She was 100% flexible on timing and working out final details even in the days leading up to our wedding. She made everyone feel natural for the photos, and made sure we made the most of our time in every location, while not taking us away from enjoying the moments. So far we have seen two of our sneak peek photos and they are so beautiful! She will be uploading all of our photos to a portal from where we can print or download digital files, which makes everything so easy. We added her services for our rehearsal as well, and those will be included as part of our same portal, which makes everything very convenient. Emma traveled to Atlanta for my wedding, and worked with an excellent second shooter as well. I could not imagine a better photographer to work with and recommend her to any and everyone who is looking!

To say Emily Dean Photography was the perfect choice for my husband and I is an understatement. The night I got engaged I texted her and immediately asked her availability.
