Ellen is hands down the best wedding planner!! She planned my sisters wedding a couple years ago and when I got engaged I knew we had to hire Ellen again. From day one she was amazing and listened to everything I wanted. She is very organized, personable, kind, and always on top of everything. Throughout the year long planning process I never once felt stressed, because I knew Ellen had everything under control. She always stays within your budget and still manages to find the most amazing vendors and make your dreams come true. Ellen is always just an email, call or text away. She is always there to tackle an issue or just reassure you everything will be okay. My experience with Ellen has been SO amazing!! If you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further! Ellen is exactly what a person dreams of when they think about a wedding coordinator - she is organized, thoughtful, efficient, and always one step ahead of anyone else in the room. Seriously, we would ask a question and then she would whip out a whole list detailing every little thing that we would never have thought of!

She is also a non-stop, hard worker. You’d never hear Ellen say “That’s not my job” - in fact we saw her physically move stacks and stacks of chairs with record speed when a downpour came through and she had to spin up a Plan B for cocktail hour in about 30 seconds.

People told us we were so calm throughout our day and we told them it was because 1. We were confident in each other and our commitment to a lifetime together and because 2. Ellen was in charge! Our only regret is not working with Ellen earlier for more of her guidance before the month of the wedding. Get Ellen on your team - it’ll be the best and easiest decision during the entire wedding process and she’ll be by your side for the rest!

I cannot fit all of the good things to say about Ellen in a single review. We worked together for almost 2 years to plan a fall 2021 wedding and I texted her 48 hours after our wedding to say I was experiencing “Ellen withdrawals” because she was so much more than just a wedding planner to us. Ellen had planned a friend’s wedding that we attended a few years prior, and we knew that her design completely matched the wedding we envisioned. She was the first and best decision we made during the process!

Rather than spend hours Googling vendors, Ellen made the process incredibly easy by giving us a small selection of vendors she had vetted (and typically worked with before), but never hesitated to continue looking if we were not completely happy. She got excited when we thought of ways to make our wedding unique (corndog station, shuffleboard table, Chinese elements) and kept us on track with our budget – always adjusting in other areas when we went over in one area.

The week and days leading up to our wedding were incredibly stressful, not because there were things that still needed to be done (Ellen had all of that covered well in advance), but inevitably because of weather. I had dreamed of an outdoor ceremony at the Swan House, but a hurricane was determined to ruin our plans. That week, Ellen worked closely with our florist (Chelsea from Luxe and Bloom!) and other vendors to design a beautiful rain plan indoors and she responded to my numerous text messages freaking out about the weather and the million other questions that popped into my head last minute. Ultimately, she delivered and made ALL of the correct calls – from keeping the ceremony outdoors to moving the cocktail hour inside – which was crucial because it started pouring 10 minutes after our ceremony.

I could go on for pages about how wonderful she is, but hopefully if you have made it this far, you know to go ahead and book Ellen as your wedding planner – you won’t regret it!

We are SO happy that we chose Ellen as our month of/day of coordinator. We wanted someone who we could trust to be on top of things so that we wouldn't need to worry about anything on our big day, and Ellen was exactly what we needed! She was personable, professional, reliable, and did an awesome job of making sure that everything was taken care of and that everyone was on the same page leading up to the event. She thought of every detail, gave helpful input and advice, and seemed to have a solution for anything we were worried about. If anything went wrong on our day, we had no idea! Ellen and her team are the best! From our first conversation, she was more than willing to answer and provide direction throughout the process. Her professionalism, coordination, and organization kept me at ease throughout our planning. I love to be in control of situations that I have control over, I wanted to have a large hand in planning my wedding, I often cannot relinquish control, but Ellen met me where I was at. Allowing me to do what I wanted to be involved in and pulling together all the details that I didn’t think about AND keeping me sane throughout it. Her knowledge in the wedding industry is top notch. She provides excellent recommendations of vendors and will give her honest opinion, which was HUGE for me because I needed the reassurance! She allows room for creativity and understanding your priorities but is able to bring it all together to make the day absolutely fantastic. She thought of every little detail and it did not go unnoticed. Rain on your wedding day with a pause in the weather? Ellen will run across the venue to grab you for outside pictures that she knew were so important to you. I cannot say enough good things about Ellen. Even my bridesmaids have RAVED about her and their interactions with her throughout the day and were even surprised at how calm I was on my wedding day -- but I knew I was in great hands. She is prepared and truly makes the day run smoothly. I would recommend Ellen again and again!!! You truly cannot go wrong!!! Ellen, you are a rockstar. Ellen and her team were a godsend for our wedding! Ellen is so professional and just an overall joy to work with, helping to make planning so much fun! Her planning portal and detailed checklist were essential to making sure everything was in check for our wedding, and she had the perfect balance of helping bring our vision to life while also jumping in with suggestions based on her expertise.

Not only is Ellen fantastic planning and coordinating, she also handles crises with such calm and grace. When a family member overheated and was taken away to the hospital (thankfully he is okay!) Ellen was absolutely incredible in comforting us and helping us navigate how to move forward with the night after the incident. Seriously, she handled the situation perfectly and we are so grateful to her for helping us cope and continue the evening.

I would say that Ellen Thomas is the best wedding investment you can make! Ellen helped us plan our wedding during the pandemic while we were living in Texas. When we came to Atlanta, she moved around her schedule to make time to meet with us and also had many phone calls with us. Ellen took care of all the vendors and made sure no details were overlooked. The day of the wedding was so much fun and we truly enjoyed our day because Ellen dealt with everything behind the scenes. Ellen truly treats her clients like they are the most important person and truly cares about you and your wedding. Ellen is very professional and I highly recommend her and her team!

Our experience with Ellen made planning our wedding so much easier. Her relationships with local vendors allowed us to find services extremely easily and all her recommendations were great.
