This gown has many hourd of hand applique and beading work in it. The flower blossom appliques were originally silk flowers. They circle the hem, decorate the waistline and gently frame the bodice. Fully boned inner foundation, full attached petticote, horsehair hem for support.This is a one-shoulder dress with a slightly dropped waist, flared full skirt. The shoulder strap detail in the back is quite pretty, with embroidered trim to match thepearl beaded lace. I call the color on this dress "blush", as it is not quite pink, not really ivory or white! The bodice is supported with boning in all the seams, the hem is finished in horsehair for support, and there is a light petticote attached.
