DW Duo is a professional wedding DJ and musician based in Beaverton, Oregon, that serves the area of Portland and the Oregon Coast. Owner Dawn Grishow is a professional harpist, DJ, and vocalist that provides the elegance of live music and the wide variety of a DJ’s library as the soundtrack of your wedding. DW Duo will give your wedding the right musical touches to entertain your guests and make your special day unforgettable.

DW Duo provides live celtic harp music, smooth standards and jazz vocals, and a wide variety of DJ music to accompany every part of your wedding celebration. Dawn will work with your timeline to ensure that each part of your wedding is accompanied by music, from beautiful, romantic harp music during your ceremony, to smooth jazz standards during cocktail hour, and lively, upbeat dance music at your reception. She also offers live classical guitar music during your ceremony that can be blended with the celtic harp to create a soothing, melodious duet. Over the top.

Dawn is awesome, She was there early, set up, played, then DJ the dinner, and Sang with a beautiful voice. I had many compliments from our guest.

Dawn is the sweetest person. She performed at my sister's wedding 10 years ago. She did such a great job that we hired her again for my wedding! She plays the harp beautifully, she sings, and she is the funnest DJ. She got everyone at our intimate wedding dancing. She really knows how to work the crowd. Everyone was in love with her energy. Would definitely recommend!

What an absolute sweetheart Dawn is to work with. She played the harp for the ceremony and it was such an elegant and beautiful touch to make the wedding more special. She listened and accommodated all of our requests and had a great guide to keep us on track in the planning so we wouldn't forget any aspect. We made a few changes day of due to timeline and she was flexible gracious and moved with all changes. She got people dancing by dancing herself and brought energy to the whole venue. She touched base with me to make sure things were going well and ensured I was having the best time. She even encouraged my mom to help her get through the before dinner prayer! I cannot say enough good things about Dawn. Her daughter was also there to help. Both dressed professionally and set a great tone for the wedding. A pleasure to do business with.

We used Dawn for our wedding and were very impressed with everything. She played harp for the ceremony, sang for the cocktail hour and dinner, and then DJ'd a great dance party that had everyone from the flower girl to my husband's grandparents out on the floor.

Being able to walk down the aisle to live harp music made for an absolutely beautiful moment, and I've heard from multiple people how much fun they had dancing and what a great mix of music was played.

I was so grateful for the detailed planning guide but that she was also able to gauge the crowd and play what was getting everyone dancing. It really made everything so easy, and it was great to not have to worry about the music at all.

Dawn was fantastic to work with from start to finish! The harp during the ceremony was so beautiful and she went seamlessly into the reception dj music. We gave Dawn a simple list of songs and artists to give her an idea of what we like and don't like and she did an amazing job of creating the playlist around it. She was even playing songs we love and didn't tell her about! As MC, she made sure the receptions flowed naturally. The dance party was a blast and our guests were begging her to keep playing when the party was ending.

Dawn did a wonderful job with our outdoor wedding. She took care of everything, including bringing her own generator to our garden event. From playing the harp, singing and being the DJ she was great and the guests loved the variety. People were so amazed that she did everything and I can tell you that there's nothing like having live music to make an event special.

HOLY MOLY! Dawn was by far the best music vendor we could have asked for! Dawn is so reasonably priced and she can do it ALL. At our fairly large & formal wedding at the Oregon Golf Club, Dawn played harp for our guests' arrival & wedding processional, sang jazz for our cocktail hour, and then DJed (a VERY detailed song list put together by my husband and I, I might add) for our reception. I would hire Dawn again in a HEARTBEAT!! I would not look any further than Dawn for your event! She was incredible and SO fun! I hope we will stay in touch for a long time!

Dawn was fabulous!

What made us hire her ultimately was that she was a harpist and a dj combined, and her prices were very reasonable (I knew I wanted a live musician for the ceremony, but didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to find and hire two separate groups, so she was perfect!). She was always very quick in getting back to us, and very friendly and professional. she had a great planning form that she gave us that made it easy to organize the songs we wanted played. I was nervous because we didn't actually meet with her before the wedding day, but on the day of she was there and all set to go, and her harp playing was lovely for our ceremony. Everything she played fit perfectly with our tastes, and she held firm on just playing our preferences even when people requested other songs, which we really appreciated!

Overall it was a joy to work with Dawn, and she made our wedding wonderful with her dj and harpist skills!

Dawn was amazing! Not only was she a harpist for the ceremony, and a DJ for the reception, she also sang to music during the reception dinner, which was completely unexpected. She was very fun and outgoing and got everyone on the dance floor. When the dance floor got a little slower, she would actually get out there and dance a little. Everyone was dancing until the very last song, which never happens at weddings!

My husband's best friend used Dawn at DW Duo for his 25th wedding anniversary, and he remembered her being just awesome and fun and great music selection, so we booked her for our wedding. She was able to drive an hour and a half to two hours south to DJ our wedding. We were not disappointed! Dawn is fun and spunky, and sweeter than pie! She MC'd our wedding, played harp for our ceremony, and got the dancing and reception activities going! She played all the songs we wanted and filled in with other great songs! I would definitely recommend her!
