We had a great experience with DBW for our wedding! Our venue was just across the street and when we asked who of their whole suggested vendor list would be their top recommendation to use, it was Carrie. We walked on over and introduced ourselves, and immediately responded to her and her SIL’s warmth and engagement. Not to mention the absolutely huge roses they were arranging. They followed up with details over email and the rest was history.
We didn’t expect florals to be our first booked vendor, especially as we didn’t have color palette and vibe figured out yet, but it was great working with Carrie over the course of our engagement. As inspo came together and we got closer to the wedding, she honed in on what we wanted no problem. I also appreciated that they had additional elements to tie in - rather than a single bouquet centerpiece we liked the look of candles and varying heights, which she was able to deliver on. We didn’t need to worry about bringing in or styling additional decor. There was also a benefit to her having done many events at the venue because she could help advise on what would work best in the space.
I didn’t personally have an issue with responsiveness - sometimes a reply may take longer but that was the case on our end too, and we were getting married during busy season. There was a natural ebb and flow to our communications and she always noted for us when she’d be out of office.
We, and I think many who aren’t professionals in this space, weren’t entirely sure how to gauge cost. It was a little higher than we set out to spend initially, but when I look back it was 7% of total wedding expense which feels very fair.
Florals make up so much of the visual and we started early in our process with Carrie, but by the time the wedding rolls around you don’t see it all coming together and the BTS until you’re there in it. When the bouquets arrived to our suite while getting ready, I knew she nailed it. Sure enough the ceremony and reception spaces were done so beautifully! We absolutely loved how it all came together in a casually elegant way for our late summer wedding in the mountains. Thank you DBW team!

Carrie and her team were incredibly easy to work with. From the initial phone call describing what we wanted to the day before with last minute updates, Carrie was extremely professional, flexible, and easy to work with. She helped us determine what florals we would actually need in the venue we booked. We also used her design team to create menus, table cards, and the seating chart. They came out beautifully! I would 100% recommend Carrie! You will not be dissapointed.

We worked with Dutch Bloemen Winkel for our wedding in October, and we would absolutely recommend working with her for your wedding! The florals were absolutely stunning and we've received so many compliments on the florals on our wedding arch. She perfectly brought our vision to life. Everything was stunning and she was really collaborative with offering suggestions that work well at the venue. She also was able to wrap my bouquet with part of my mom's veil. We had eclectic, disco, retro cowgirl wedding vibes and Carrie and her team literally made our floral dreams come true. They did everything from
the ceremony and cocktail hour to the entire reception. They made everything SO FUN. I can’t stress this enough, we had a blast while doing the planning. As a bride that was not passionate about wedding planning, they made life so easy. It came together so incredibly beautiful, I couldn’t have pictured it better. They coordinated with the other vendors as needed and it came together seamlessly. We would not have had the same experience if it wasn’t for them. They made our 120 pound dog a gorgeous floral collar for the ceremony too. Plus photo back drops and reused all the flowers, which we loved! We adore them, and recommend to anyone, for literally any event.

Carrie and the team at Dutch Bloemen Winkel were incredible. They were the florists for our wedding at Stonehurst Manor on 10/5/24 and everything they provided was gorgeous. My only requirement for them was a color palette of rust, terracotta and light pinks and I left the details in their hands. Needless to say they did not disappoint. They provided my bouquet, boutonnieres, a corsage, centerpieces, hair flowers, cake flowers and beautiful clusters for the archway. The archway clusters were then able to be moved indoors after the ceremony and placed at our sweetheart table. Everything was coordinated and made beautifully. It was fall without screaming fall or Halloween and I loved it. Cannot recommend them enough!

Dutch Bloemen Winkel…I’m forever grateful, and in love. Not only is it the most fun response to give when someone asks; “who’s your florist?” but the LEVEL OF SERVICE THEY PROVIDE!! We had so much fun speaking with Carrie and sharing our vision, and watching her creative mind bring it all to fruition. What DBW offers is farrrr beyond “just flowers,” they curated our entire aesthetic, and it was breath-taking. Our guests were kind of shocked by how often I said “Yeah, our florist covered that.” They offer as much (or as little) as you envision (flowers, table-settings, decorations, lighting and all the extra touches you can imagine. The communication and flexibility was fantastic. Also, Carrie single-handedly encouraged us to have our wedding outside. It was November in NH, and it was a bit chilly. We were concerned about the older crowd, and she just looked at us and went “Today is about you….it is absolutely gorgeous outside, everyone will be fine.” I have never been more thankful for that exchange, because our wedding WOULD NOT have been the same (or the pictures), if we played it safe and stayed inside. Obsessed, DBW Forever.

Carrie and her crew at Dutch Bloemen Winkel are absolutely incredible! From the start, Carrie was flexible and accommodating throughout our planning process. Since we live in Massachusetts and DBW is based in New Hampshire, Carrie was always willing to work around our schedules to plan in person or virtual meetings and made us feel comfortable throughout the planning process. We loved that when we went to meet with Carrie, we found a local, independently owned shop that everyone in the community loved, as was evident by the many customers entering that Carrie and her associates knew by name. However, despite the community-tied feel of this shop, do not be fooled into thinking that they are a small operation! Carrie and her crew provided everything that we needed for a wedding with over 200 guests!

Although we knew that our flowers would come out wonderful, on the day of, our arrangements surpassed all of our dreams. Carrie and her crew created beautiful matching bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, urns, table arrangements, an arch and even provided flowers for our cake. Each and every item was gorgeous. Carrie and her crew went above and beyond to ensure that our arch stayed put on our windy rooftop ceremony site and even helped us to stay within our budget by transferring in items from the ceremony to the reception. We cannot recommend Carrie and Dutch Bloemen Winkel enough!

We couldn’t have been more happy with the decorations Carrie and her staff did for our wedding reception! We were from out of town and communicated via email and phone and she captured our desired look and wishes perfectly! We wanted a Apres ski party theme and she nailed it!
