We had a great experience with DBW for our wedding! Our venue was just across the street and when we asked who of their whole suggested vendor list would be their top recommendation to use, it was Carrie. We walked on over and introduced ourselves, and immediately responded to her and her SIL’s warmth and engagement. Not to mention the absolutely huge roses they were arranging. They followed up with details over email and the rest was history.
We didn’t expect florals to be our first booked vendor, especially as we didn’t have color palette and vibe figured out yet, but it was great working with Carrie over the course of our engagement. As inspo came together and we got closer to the wedding, she honed in on what we wanted no problem. I also appreciated that they had additional elements to tie in - rather than a single bouquet centerpiece we liked the look of candles and varying heights, which she was able to deliver on. We didn’t need to worry about bringing in or styling additional decor. There was also a benefit to her having done many events at the venue because she could help advise on what would work best in the space.
I didn’t personally have an issue with responsiveness - sometimes a reply may take longer but that was the case on our end too, and we were getting married during busy season. There was a natural ebb and flow to our communications and she always noted for us when she’d be out of office.
We, and I think many who aren’t professionals in this space, weren’t entirely sure how to gauge cost. It was a little higher than we set out to spend initially, but when I look back it was 7% of total wedding expense which feels very fair.
Florals make up so much of the visual and we started early in our process with Carrie, but by the time the wedding rolls around you don’t see it all coming together and the BTS until you’re there in it. When the bouquets arrived to our suite while getting ready, I knew she nailed it. Sure enough the ceremony and reception spaces were done so beautifully! We absolutely loved how it all came together in a casually elegant way for our late summer wedding in the mountains. Thank you DBW team!

We had eclectic, disco, retro cowgirl wedding vibes and Carrie and her team literally made our floral dreams come true. They did everything from
the ceremony and cocktail hour to the entire reception. They made everything SO FUN. I can’t stress this enough, we had a blast while doing the planning. As a bride that was not passionate about wedding planning, they made life so easy. It came together so incredibly beautiful, I couldn’t have pictured it better. They coordinated with the other vendors as needed and it came together seamlessly. We would not have had the same experience if it wasn’t for them. They made our 120 pound dog a gorgeous floral collar for the ceremony too. Plus photo back drops and reused all the flowers, which we loved! We adore them, and recommend to anyone, for literally any event.

Wedding Florist
Carrie and the team at Dutch Bloemen Winkel were incredible. They were the florists for our wedding at Stonehurst Manor on 10/5/24 and everything they provided was gorgeous. My only requirement for them was a color palette of rust, terracotta and light pinks and I left the details in their hands. Needless to say they did not disappoint. They provided my bouquet, boutonnieres, a corsage, centerpieces, hair flowers, cake flowers and beautiful clusters for the archway. The archway clusters were then able to be moved indoors after the ceremony and placed at our sweetheart table. Everything was coordinated and made beautifully. It was fall without screaming fall or Halloween and I loved it. Cannot recommend them enough!

Incredible Florist!
Dutch Bloemen Winkel…I’m forever grateful, and in love. Not only is it the most fun response to give when someone asks; “who’s your florist?” but the LEVEL OF SERVICE THEY PROVIDE!! We had so much fun speaking with Carrie and sharing our vision, and watching her creative mind bring it all to fruition. What DBW offers is farrrr beyond “just flowers,” they curated our entire aesthetic, and it was breath-taking. Our guests were kind of shocked by how often I said “Yeah, our florist covered that.” They offer as much (or as little) as you envision (flowers, table-settings, decorations, lighting and all the extra touches you can imagine. The communication and flexibility was fantastic. Also, Carrie single-handedly encouraged us to have our wedding outside. It was November in NH, and it was a bit chilly. We were concerned about the older crowd, and she just looked at us and went “Today is about you….it is absolutely gorgeous outside, everyone will be fine.” I have never been more thankful for that exchange, because our wedding WOULD NOT have been the same (or the pictures), if we played it safe and stayed inside. The Most Beautiful Flowers!
Carrie and her crew at Dutch Bloemen Winkel are absolutely incredible! From the start, Carrie was flexible and accommodating throughout our planning process. Since we live in Massachusetts and DBW is based in New Hampshire, Carrie was always willing to work around our schedules to plan in person or virtual meetings and made us feel comfortable throughout the planning process. We loved that when we went to meet with Carrie, we found a local, independently owned shop that everyone in the community loved, as was evident by the many customers entering that Carrie and her associates knew by name. However, despite the community-tied feel of this shop, do not be fooled into thinking that they are a small operation! Carrie and her crew provided everything that we needed for a wedding with over 200 guests!
Although we knew that our flowers would come out wonderful, on the day of, our arrangements surpassed all of our dreams. Carrie and her crew created beautiful matching bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, urns, table arrangements, an arch and even provided flowers for our cake. Each and every item was gorgeous. Carrie and her crew went above and beyond to ensure that our arch stayed put on our windy rooftop ceremony site and even helped us to stay within our budget by transferring in items from the ceremony to the reception. We cannot recommend Carrie and Dutch Bloemen Winkel enough!

Perfect Reception Experience

5 Stars for DBW! Carrie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is fun and passionate about her profession. She also has excellent communication and is easy to contact (even on her days off!). The flowers came out stunning. They definitely exceeded our expectations. Our flowers were fresh and vibrant, and came to a reasonable price. Our dog was in the wedding and Carrie made her an adorable floral collar! All ceremony decorations were repurposed for the reception and they looked amazing throughout the entire night. Thank you Carrie, we are so happy we chose you as our florist and would hire you again in a heartbeat!
Carrie and Dutch Bloemen Winkel are absolute rockstars! Thanks to covid, we were able to use them twice! They were super easy to work with and agile in their approach to meet our requests and needs. Even when we made last minute requests, they were able to make them happen.
One of my favorite part about working with Carrie was the amount of options she provided. We were not really sure where we wanted to go with the table displays, centerpieces, other decorations in the tent, etc. but she had all these options to share and help us think about what made the most sense. This also made it easy, because she owned a number of different centerpiece designs and other decorations to use, but had a whole network of connections if you wanted something else.
As for price, they were very reasonable and were great to work with if you had a budget.
Carrie was awesome to work with, STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!

If you’re thinking about hiring Carrie and her team for your wedding, think no more and JUST DO IT. I cannot express the magic that DBW brought to my big day. Since the second I spoke to Carrie on the phone, she was kind, funny and extremely accommodating- I knew I was in great hands. She made every step of the process so unbelievably easy. I had a very specific vision for my wedding and the DBW team hit the nail on the head. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everything looked wonderful.
The week before my wedding, I had to replan my ceremony- location and all. My florals for the ceremony completely changed and Carrie was so extremely helpful and accommodating. She was truly the MVP of my wedding day! There aren’t enough stars for this team!

My daughter's flowers for her wedding on 06.18.22 were amazing!!! We visited the florist the day before to check in and they were so nice showing us the work in progress. The staff was so amazing at setting up the venue with decorations and flowers. They even had umbrellas as rain was threatening!! The Most Beautiful Flowers AND The Nicest People
We had our Wedding at Whitneys Inn on 6.18.2022. I am so thankful that we had Carrie and her team working with us on our special day. The flowers were truly perfect, so so beautiful! In addition to the amazing flowers, Carrie and her team went above and beyond to help make our day special. We had an outside ceremony and due to the weather there was a chance we would have to move the ceremony inside. Carries team waited at the venue until the ceremony started just in case the large (and beautiful!) ceremony flower arrangement needed to be moved inside at the last minute. They also brought umbrellas for us to use. Their kindness was just so over the top wonderful! Carrie is a lovely and talented human. She did my bouquet, corsages, boutonniere, and stunning floral arbor in 2020, and later, more corsages and boutonnieres, centerpieces, and hanging tent decor in 2021. We were fortunate in that way to work with her twice, and get to have two color palettes (spring and fall) (and, she was gracious with each postponement!). Carrie has such an eye for unique blooms and color combinations. Being the top notch service they are, DBW also installed hanging greenery with twinkle lights for our tent. The most stunning flowers!

I cannot imagine a more talented bunch of florists who were so enthusiastic to work with the space and props that we had. Just wow. Dutch Bloemen Winkle was amazing, so look no further for your floral needs! The service was personalized, organized, and flexible. The shop is cute and so are the owner's dogs -- we wanted to use them as ring bearers. :) Carrie, the owner, is very careful about understanding exactly what you want from color, to design, to textures and/or favorite flower types. Our floral arrangements were better than we imagined - simply stunning. Carrie even brought some over to the local bakery (Autumn Nomad) to add to the top of our cake. Beautiful! Carrie was one of our Jackson Dream Team members that we assembled for our wedding this fall. I found wedding planning to be overwhelming and didn't handle it with grace. The second we sat down with Carrie that all changed. I immediately felt like she could read my mind and had a 1000% handle on my vision. Not sure how she does it folks!! Come September, 11 months later, boy did she deliver. We had the most floral that pulled together all of the little details we mentioned during our meeting - even better than we expected! Our venue asked me if they could use the photos from our wedding of Carrie's work for their marketing materials. THAT is saying something! On top of the amazing floral design. I felt like I had an all-star professional in my corner during the planning process and the day of our big day. I had a final touch base with Carrie and her team and even mentioned a few last minute requests and they completely took care of it all, with enthusiasm. THAT is what a bride needs on her side. Not only are you paying for floral, set up and the design, but you are also hiring a caring professional to be on your side during a pretty stressful time. Summary: Our vision was perfectly executed, the end product exceeded all of our expectations AND any problems that came up day of were solved for us without question. I live in the area where the Dutch Bloemenwinkel is, so I know that Carrie does such a beautiful job - but she blew me away with my wedding flowers. All I told her was what our colors were and that I didn't want sunflowers in my arrangements. I gave her free reign to create beauty with whatever flowers she had available to her at the time. STUNNING. It broke my heart to have to leave the flowers at home while we went on our honeymoon because I just wanted to keep staring at them - so beautiful. I knew she was good, but this was AMAZING. I would recommend her to anyone because as far as florists go, Carrie and her team are better than the best.

What more can be said about this amazing florist? I may have been a bride but I'm also a wedding professional and I knew from the start that I wanted Carrie and her crew to do my flowers despite our venue being 2.5 hours away. I often give them free reign on designing any flowers I pick up from them and did much the same with these arrangements. I just asked for Sunflowers and something complementary to go with them. They worked with us to package the flowers for transport, created a boutonniere for my husband using a Lego figure and we couldn't have been happier. A week+ later and the arrangements still look great.

Carrie and the girls know their flowers! These women created a romantic and greenery feel to our wedding. They used several of our personal items to make the enviornment perfect and also added their own touch.
Flowers may not seem that important during planning but it was one thing I dreamed about and still do!

We were so lucky to have hired Carrie and team for our wedding. We booked The Wentworth as our venue and Autumn Nomad for our cake, which are all next door/across the road from each other, truly a dream team of vendors! Carrie was incredibly responsive and helpful over the 10 months we worked with her, and even made sure we had a place to send questions during her leave and when the store was closed for vacation! She helped us work within our budget based on what we wanted, and happily allowed us to change the items and counts around many times. We knew almost nothing about flowers going into the wedding planning process, but Carrie is incredibly skilled at translating the "inspiration" photos we send (which also changed over time) into a beautiful vision for our day. The Dutch Bloeman Winkel team was wonderful to work with on the day of - they did all of the ceremony and reception set up, and delivered the personal flowers to our rooms. They even returned after the reception to transfer the ceremony flowers to double for the reception! In addition, they responded to a request from my mom literally on the day of after they had dropped off the flowers to switch her and my Grandma's pin corsages to wrist corsages because she was worried about the pins. Incredible service and beautiful work, we honestly could not have asked for more from a florist!

This place PHENOMENAL! I honestly didn't really even know what I wanted for flowers, but somehow Carrie and her staff put together the floral arrangements of my dreams (that I didn't even know I had). She took the vague details and ideas I gave her and transformed them into what I couldn't even put into words. All I knew was that I wanted a soft, simple, subtle look with neutral tones. On the day of my wedding while I was getting my hair and makeup done, Carrie sent me a sneak peak of my bouquet and I was so surprised! It was PERFECT! Then when I got outside and saw all the floral arrangement in person I was truly blown away. Everything was so beautiful! I cannot say enough how much I would recommend these guys for your wedding! Everything went so smoothly, and I didn't have to worry about a thing during the entire process. And for someone who didn't care much about the flowers in the beginning, they ended up being one of my most favorite things about my wedding, so I can assure you, you will not be disappointed! :)

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Carrie and the team at DBW are FLAWLESS. We were absolutely blown away by everything they did for us!! Flowers and décor are the hardest aspect of your wedding to plan because you can’t see really what it will look like until the wedding. I was nervous at first, but after my first meeting with Carrie, I knew we were in great hands. During our meeting, we chatted through details and Carrie came up with lots of fun ideas that I hadn’t even thought were possible. I had pinned a picture of some striped fabric on a gazebo on Pinterest and after Carrie saw it, she had the idea to construct the same for the gazebo we were getting married at and even make sure it was portable so it could be moved over to the entrance of our reception tent. When they say that they are a full-service florist, they absolutely are! I was sent our floral list a few weeks before the wedding and I was able to provide any feedback I had and it was updated with any changes easily. I used personalized table names that I ordered through Etsy and Carrie set them up on each table to ensure they looked great with the flowers, candles, runners and napkins she was already placing. My mother in law used DBW for our rehearsal dinner as well. She worked with Carrie to make sure the flowers complimented those for the wedding, but weren’t the exact same arrangements. DBW turned our rehearsal dinner space into an absolutely gorgeous spot. They also reused the flowers from the rehearsal dinner to embellish our cocktail hour space. We had our dog in the wedding and Carrie made a beautiful flower collar for him to wear. She even wanted to be the one to put it on him to ensure it stayed. They absolutely went above and beyond for our wedding. We are so appreciative for all the little details that were executed flawlessly.

Dutch Bloemen Winkel provided all of the flowers and center pieces for our rustic outdoor wedding with 200+ guests in Bartlett, NH. What I saw on my wedding day completely took my breath away. We had a beautiful arbor decorated with tumbling wild flowers to get married under, farm tables impeccably decorated with wildflowers and tea lights.. everywhere I looked there were just little touches I would never have even thought of myself. It was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Not only on our wedding day was everything perfect, but from our first meeting with Carrie on we felt like we were in good hands. She helped us find an amazing wedding planner, the perfect baker, recommended a caterer after ours fell through at the last minute, and completely put my mind at ease and got our wedding back on track! Just an amazing experience. I can't recommend them enough!!!

I can't say enough good things about Dutch Bloemen Winkel! My flowers were absolutely breathtaking, Carrie is so sweet to work with and you can tell she really works hard to capture the brides (cause lets be honest, what groom cares about flowers) personal style and vision. My uncle made an arbor for our ceremony which we didn't see until the day before the wedding, it was very simple and needed to be dressed up but at that point I couldn't have cared less about it and was just excited to get married. My mom surprised me by calling Carrie and asking her to come up with something for the arbor. When I noticed it standing up at the ceremony I was shocked and am thankful they took the time to add that at the last minute because I know it made my mom happy and definitely made a difference! The whole aesthetic for my wedding was very important to me, I DIY'd all of my signage and did all of the stationary, but when it came to flowers I had to trust the pros which was hard.. Dutch Bloemen Winkel exceeded all of my expectations!!

Carrie and her team are AMAZING. She was so creative when coming up with ideas for our wedding. She went above and beyond to design something for us that incorporated our Scottish heritage. She not only did our flowers, but she also decorated our wedding ceremony site. To help save on costs, her magical wedding fairies, moved the decorations from the wedding site to our reception for additional WOW. She also was able to get us lanterns and canopies for the reception tent, plus get us colorful linens for our tables. On top of all that she is so super sweet and nice and made planning so simple. She helped us create the reception tables of our dreams with beautiful candles, flowers and table numbers all to match within our theme and budget. I can not begin to explain how happy I am that I selected Carrie and her team to do the floral for our wedding! They are top notch and everything turned out awesome!
I began the process thinking I would just have them do the wedding party flowers but by the end of it I had trusted Carrie so much to carry out our vision that they ended up doing everything - our flowers, centerpieces, flowers for the various tables, arrangement for the ceremony, tent draping, etc. In addition, we had her and her staff set up everything and coordinated any decoration moves for the day of. We literally didn't have to lift a finger on the day of the wedding which I am SO happy about. It really made us enjoy the day and not sweat the details leading up to the wedding.

PS: We got married at the Eagle Mountain House, which is right up the road from DBW which was so convenient when we made a few planning trips up north and also was helpful because Carrie knew the place inside and out.

Dutch Bloeman Winkel was such an awesome vendor to work with. I did all of my floral planning through email. Carrie is very quick to respond and she is so sweet. We didn't need much just a bouquet and a boutineer. Carrie requested a picture of what I wanted and that was pretty much it. Super easy!
Our flowers were so gorgeous!! I loved them! I was worried that the boutineer was going to look girly because my bouquet had corals and pinks but Carrie and her team made a simple boutineer that was masculine looking and I hadn't even contacted her with any concern for this. I trusted that she would come up with something lovely.
I would recommend Dutch Bloeman Winkel to anyone that needs flowers for any occasion. They did such a wonderful job.

I used Dutch Bloemen Winkel for my wedding flowers and absolutely loved them! The owner, Carrie is friendly and professional. She really listened to what I wanted and was a pleasure to work with. Her flower shop is what you imagine when you think about picking out your flowers for your wedding... She also has two frenchies in the shop which is just an adorable little bonus when you visit. During our meetings I would sit there trying to describe a certain "look" we were going for and she would come up with something right there on the spot that was exactly as I was envisioning. She is a miracle worker! Not only that but she was there throughout the day (behind the scenes) shifting flowers from the ceremony to the reception, delivering our bouquets and making sure everything looked gorgeous. We loved Carrie and her crew. We researched florists and for some reason, the florist was the hardest for us to feel comfortable with.. but after speaking with Carrie we finally felt comfortable with her service, quality, and professional skills to produce exactly what we wanted (even if we weren't sure what we really wanted other than color scheme!) She will follow up closer to the wedding date and on the wedding date, she was on time and the flowers were all amazing! She is so easy to work with and we recommend her to anyone!

Carrie at Dutch Bloemenwinkel created the most beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding at Hardy Farm in Fryeburg, Maine. We were planning our Maine wedding from NYC but Carrie was always available to us when we needed her. We met with her a few times in person and shared a few ideas of what we were thinking and she made it all come to life, but even better than we could have imagined. She filled 84 various shaped vases with peonies, fresh lavender, and other assorted greenery. She also created beautifully wrapped fresh lavender bouquets for the bridesmaids and an absolutely perfect bride’s bouquet. It was everything I dreamed and more. I can’t speak highly enough of Carrie and her team. I wish I could keep the flowers forever, but photos will have to do!

Our wedding was about three hours from where we live so most of the communication was either done over the phone or via email. Carrie was always responsive and available to answer any questions or concerns. I don't have a single creative bone in my body and Carrie helped me every step of the way to create a beautiful wedding. From the colors of the flowers, to the vases, ribbons, and the flowers on our cake, Carrie was able to pull all of my thoughts into one beautiful and cohesive look. There is really nothing else we can say that hasn’t already been said by previous reviewers. Carrie is truly the best, and was one of the best choices we made with regards to our wedding. Right when we met her, she made us feel comfortable and the conversation was easy. Neither of us really knew what exactly we wanted for our flowers, but she asked the perfect questions and had ideas for us immediately. While the initial price scared us a little, she worked with us until we were all comfortable – and we knew that Carrie’s knowledge and style would help us more than anything. She, more or less, turned into our wedding coordinator when there was some turnover at our wedding venue; if we ever had a question, the first thing that came to mind was “Let’s ask Carrie”. When the wedding day came, the flowers were perfect. We had unusual, hand-made centerpieces that she was happy to work with and made them better than we ever expected. If you are getting married within her radius of travel, there are really no other options for your florist – you will never regret it!

My husband and I eloped in NH (we're from RI) in September. As we arrived to the inn we were staying at, I realized in horror that I had forgotten my bouquet! When I asked for a reputable florist in the area I was referred to Dutch Bloemen Winkel and was somewhat taken aback by the name. I'm so glad we went anyway because not only was my bouquet GORGEOUS but the whole experience there was incredible! For starters, the entire community loves this flower shop and it's clear that they're respected. While we were there school was letting out and children were coming over (it's next door) and playing with mascots Tulip and Toad, the florist's adorable brindled French bulldogs. The woman who helped us was adorable and so sweet. My bouquet was BEAUTIFUL (very simple and rustic with sunflowers) and was done very quickly (about 10 minutes) at the last minute. It also only cost $30 and I was anticipating spending a lot more so that was awesome!
The only thing you need to keep in mind is that the GPS is really crazy up there. We actually drove over an hour out of the way because the GPS was taking us to the wrong address. We called and were given good directions so if you're confused at all, definitely call first.

She immediately had ideas on which types of flowers would be in bloom during the time of my wedding and proved to me how knowledgeable she was. We planned on eloping in the White Mountains in a very spur of the moment way. I contacted several florists in the area and Carrie very promptly took my call and answered all of my questions. She was extremely helpful, patient (yes I changed my mind and called her back shortly after I spoke with her to change my bouquet). Carrie was gracious, sweet and completely accommodating. Being that I contacted her at the start of the busy wedding season, she managed to squeeze me in. I am forever thankful for that. She made me a beautiful bouquet of peonies better than I imagined. She even went above and beyond to do this on the only day the flower shop is closed and offered to bring the flowers to me. That is beyond customer service in this day and age. From the moment we met with Carrie, I knew our wedding was going to be spectacular. She is so passionate about her work and dedicated to interpreting your vision. She has terrific ideas and knew exactly what we were looking for - rustic simplicity - and executed it perfectly!

To write that Carrie Scribner is a talented professional, doesn't even begin to cover the extent of her skills and imagination. My husband and I were married almost a year ago, but because we were overseas, we could not celebrate properly. We decided to throw a weekend-long party at the Notchland Inn in northern New Hampshire in Feb. 2012 and the innkeeper recommended Carrie. I feel so incredibly lucky to have found her. Our first meeting to discuss the event details was great - she listened very carefully to what I was hoping to do, was full of creative ideas, and was incredibly sweet throughout. In the coming weeks, we succeeded in sorting out all the details perfectly. She did an incredible* job with the flowers - every single bloom was at its peak and no detail was forgotten (from color and flower preferences, to the overall style I was going for, to the details around linens for the tables, candles incorporated into the arrangements, hangtags for the arrangements we gave to each of our guests… the list is a long one and she did every single part of it perfectly). I was floored - as were all of our guests. I can't recommend Dutch Bloemen Winkel enough.

Carrie was so wonderful to work with. She's very creative, and made everything so easy for me. I live in MA and was married in Jackson, NH. We had most of our communication through email, and Carrie was very quick with all of her responses and ideas. I was able to communicate the feel I wanted for my wedding, and Carrie came through 100%. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers, centerpieces and mantel displays were. Carrie also recommeded The Vintage Baking Co. in town based on her own personal experience which was also wonderful and they were able to work together with each other without my having to back up to Jackson for some deliveries from DBW to Vintage.
