I originally had planned to forgo having a professional photographer capture our wedding, as I looked at the $3-4K packages of things I didn't want or need. I also had witnessed the bad photos experience with friends who shelled out thousands and ended up enjoying the pictures taken with camera phones more. However family pressure to hire a professional got to me and I am so thrilled I found Dusty Photos.

I loved his portfolio, his pricing and flexibility. With some photographers what you see in their portfolio is not what you get, but with Russel it was. I just wanted a few hours coverage of the ceremony and reception, and he surpassed my expectations. I love his style and the way his pictures captured the color and light. I thought he did a fantastic job capturing the little moments among our guests I would have otherwise missed. In other friends weddings there has always been a guest or two who was missed by the photographer for whatever reason, but he got a picture of every guest, most in great candid moments. I was not the kind of bride that wanted the multiple photographers and an hour of staged photos before the ceremony and after the ceremony, and I felt Russel gave me and my husband exactly what we needed and wanted. Though I didn't want some of the more typical photos (ring shots etc) he made several suggestions and wasn't pushy about them, leaving me with the feeling he would capture any bride's day the way she wanted and hoped for. I whole-heartedly recommend Dusty Photos.

Dusty is amazing! He worked so hard at our wedding to ensure every shot was perfect and returned our photos very quickly. We would definitely recommend him to a friend!
