The company's coverage area includes the entire state of Alabama, the southeastern region, and the rest of the United States. Using a variety of skills and techniques honed over several years, DSmithImages strives to capture every intimate moment at each couple’s big event.
David A. Smith is the owner and chief photographer for DSmithImages Photography. Having photographed weddings for over 12 years, David aims to go above and beyond to give couples a memorable experience as well as a long-lasting product that can be cherished for many years to come.
Services Offered
DSmithImages provides a range of wedding/elopement packages and services that can be tailored to best suit each couple’s desires and specific requirements. Each service offered by the company is conducted under a one-event-per-day policy. All of their wedding/elopement packages include high-resolution images, a choice of an engagement session, bridal session, boudoir session, or rehearsal dinner coverage, a storybook album, digital file delivery, print/product credit, and timeline/scheduling/coordination assistance.
Full weekend coverage + 2nd shooters are also available upon request.

Could not be Happier!!!
David is an outstanding photographer! Not only was he able to capture every special moment of our wedding, but he also played a huge role in the moments leading up to our ceremony as well. David went above and beyond by being punctual and even tackling coordinating duties that he was not expected to do which made everyone feel comfortable. He got our photos back to us quickly eliminating the typical anticipation that most newlyweds experience. Not only was he able to capture our special day through his camera lens, but he also took the time to put our photos into words in his descriptive blog post. He was able to capture our story not just by photos taken through his camera lens. David was truly one of a kind and we are so thankful for choosing such a talented photographer!

You can't go wrong with David!
David is a fantastic photographer and was so easy to work with. We had a small wedding and reception in the SF Bay Area, and we found it hard to find wedding photographers that catered to smaller events and had the flexibility we wanted, until we found David. He was extremely communicative during the planning process and, during the event, did a great job handling some of our family members that are less comfortable in front of the camera. The photos he took of us are stunning and he absolutely captured the happiness and energy of the day. Not only that, but his turnaround time is insanely fast, and his prices are very fair! If it was possible to give him 6/5 stars, we would. We can't recommend David enough!

Incredible- MUST hire!!

Absolutely amazing
David was absolutely amazing! I found him online and he was so personable since the beginning! He was reassuring, funny, excited and passionate about getting the best shots and making sure everything we needed was taken care of. I truly cannot recommend him enough. Amazing photographs!
We couldnt have been happier with our choice to hire David to take our elopement wedding photos at Yellowstone National Park! Not one thing felt strained or rigid! We were able to just have FUN our entire day! Three days later, still on our vacation and we were able to see ALL of our photos online thanks to his prompt turn around time! My teenage girls LOVED looking at them all while we were still at Yellowstone and the Tetons! Highly recommend David to anyone and everyone considering hiring a wedding photographer! Thanks David!!! ❤️

Would absolutely recommend!
What an amazing addition to our wedding! David went above and beyond before, during and after our wedding. He was able to perfectly guide the day and keep us on a schedule without coming across as demanding. He was phenomenal at getting everything we wanted out of our wedding without us even having to ask. He found a way to make it fun and encouraging our theme that made the photoshoots more fun rather than awkward. Lastly, he had our photos done within 48 hours!! Would absolutely book again and even ask him to fly to us for more shoots!

Outstanding
We hired David to take our wedding photos and he went above and beyond what we ever imagined. David was kind, creative, and very passionate! He answered every question we had and dealt with my crazy disfunctional family like a pro! My aunt is getting married next year, she fell in love with our photos and booked him for herself!! 10/10 recommend.

Wisconsin Wedding
