David is an outstanding photographer! Not only was he able to capture every special moment of our wedding, but he also played a huge role in the moments leading up to our ceremony as well. David went above and beyond by being punctual and even tackling coordinating duties that he was not expected to do which made everyone feel comfortable. He got our photos back to us quickly eliminating the typical anticipation that most newlyweds experience. Not only was he able to capture our special day through his camera lens, but he also took the time to put our photos into words in his descriptive blog post. He was able to capture our story not just by photos taken through his camera lens. David was truly one of a kind and we are so thankful for choosing such a talented photographer!

You can't go wrong with David!
David is a fantastic photographer and was so easy to work with. We had a small wedding and reception in the SF Bay Area, and we found it hard to find wedding photographers that catered to smaller events and had the flexibility we wanted, until we found David. He was extremely communicative during the planning process and, during the event, did a great job handling some of our family members that are less comfortable in front of the camera. The photos he took of us are stunning and he absolutely captured the happiness and energy of the day. Not only that, but his turnaround time is insanely fast, and his prices are very fair! If it was possible to give him 6/5 stars, we would. We can't recommend David enough! -

We couldnt have been happier with our choice to hire David to take our elopement wedding photos at Yellowstone National Park! Not one thing felt strained or rigid! We were able to just have FUN our entire day! Three days later, still on our vacation and we were able to see ALL of our photos online thanks to his prompt turn around time! My teenage girls LOVED looking at them all while we were still at Yellowstone and the Tetons! Highly recommend David to anyone and everyone considering hiring a wedding photographer! What an amazing addition to our wedding! David went above and beyond before, during and after our wedding. He was able to perfectly guide the day and keep us on a schedule without coming across as demanding. He was phenomenal at getting everything we wanted out of our wedding without us even having to ask. He found a way to make it fun and encouraging our theme that made the photoshoots more fun rather than awkward. Lastly, he had our photos done within 48 hours!! Would absolutely book again and even ask him to fly to us for more shoots! -

We hired David to do an engagement shoot in Alabama and were so pleased that we booked him to photograph our out of state wedding in Wisconsin. His communication is EXCEPTIONAL and he was professional and fun to work with. The value of his photography, we feel, is much more than he charges. -

David went quite literally out of his way to make our day even more special. From helping us coordinate things at the wedding to providing excellent photos. He was very experienced and doubled as a wedding coordinator at times. I definitely recommend David to anyone that is an adventurous couple with a destination location as he not only was happy to be at the wedding but without question traveled with us to the trash the dress location. This location was over an hour away and on mountain back roads. In addition, we received our photos in a very timely manner. I could say more but you should put him to the test yourself! -

David is an amazing photographer. He walked us through every bit of how pictures would be taken. He got our opinion about what we wanted and accommodated all of it. The pictures turned out to be stunning. He was patient and friendly. He prices were so reasonable I would say he doesn’t charge enough. We highly recommend him. -

If you’re looking for a super sweet, super approachable, and super professional photographer who will make you feel comfortable on your wedding day – David is amazing! He was super flexible throughout the day and took on many jobs and roles that were needed. Didn’t have a ride to the first look? David drove me himself. Needed someone to step in and direct people? David’s on it. His photos were super genuine and not posed, which is exactly what we were looking for. He still got the posed shots that we wanted, but he values authentic moments and capturing real emotion. We could not be happier with the photos he took for us! Thank you David! -

David was an amazing photographer, very professional and easy to work with. He was patient and kind but also commanded the room when he needed too. He was very good at getting all the photos I wanted and then some additional photos I didnt even know I wanted. All the photos were beautiful and were edited and back to me, ready to use very quickly about 2 days after the ceremony. He gave me and my husband his full attention throughout the entire celebration. He learned all my family's names and got to know them individually. I couldn't of asked for a better photographer and a new friend. He truely became part of the family. -

Amazing Photographer.
David did such an amazing job as my photographer at my 10/3/20 wedding. I found him through Facebook because my original photographer cancelled, but this was a blessing is disguise. David was so wonderful, he got all the shots that I had asked him too, he his so professional, and the one thing I really like the most was that he took charge of the situation and made sure everything was organized when we were taking pictures with the wedding attendees. It gets so chaotic when everyone is trying to take pictures but David knew how to control the situation. I would 100% recommend David. thank you for such a great experience. -

David was there from the start of the day to the end of the day!! He made sure to catch every moment! He was super helpful about everything and valued any input! If I needed him for anything he was there! Also, for the price, it was amazing!!!! Most photographers I found were only for a few hours, with him, I could relax and make sure I wasn't rushing the whole day! I couldn't recommend him enough!!! The photos were gorgeous, and he even would take pictures with my families phones for them which meant so much to them! -

David was an incredibly professional, punctual, and friendly photographer. He responded to my messages within an hour (usually much less). He made it very easy to meet up for our first meeting. I am a control freak and he made it so easy to hand him the reigns. I was completely stress free and he got all the best shots. He collaborated with our DJ to herd the wedding party and guests to where they needed to be and everything went perfectly! We could not have asked for a better outcome and would choose David again 1000 times over! Thank you so much, David, for amazing pictures to cherish forever!!!

Hardworking, Friendly, Professional
David Smith was helpful and hardworking every step of the way. My wife and I were a little nervous about being able to find a photographer in Alabama who would treat a queer couple just like any other couple, so we were thrilled to find David. He was nothing but friendly and respectful towards us and all our family and friends!
David checked in on us regularly in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding to get a feel for what photography style we liked, as well as to help us decide where to take our first look pics, family pics, and more. He was genuinely interested in what we were hoping for from his work, and took all our requests into account.
On the day of the wedding, we had David's undivided attention from the moment he arrived for getting-ready pics through the reception that night. It was cool to see our own hopes for the photos realized, while also getting David's creative input for even more pics! We had asked for a lot of candid shots as well as posed ones, and the quality of both kinds of pics turned out fabulous. I'm pretty sure everyone who came to our wedding ended up in at least a few of the candid shots, which I'm happy about!
After the wedding day, David got our prints back to us super quickly, and sent us a flash drive of all the high-quality pics promptly as well. David captured every meaningful moment of our wedding day, which we will be grateful for every time we look back at these photos in years to come. -

No Stress With David!
From the first time I inquired about a wedding package, David was AMAZING! He’s so responsive and flexible, he does exactly what you want and works SO efficient!! The engagement session was very early in the morning and cool and he had no issues and was happy to do it! Then the day of the wedding he was absolutely FANTASTIC!! As a bride he made my life so easy, and went above and beyond what most photographers will do to help during the event!! We got our pictures back within a week and they are everything we ever wanted! He is the best of the best, and I would hire him for any event you want photographed wonderfully!! He traveled to us in Atlanta on a very cold, windy Sunday afternoon and let us drag him through two different outdoor locations and got fantastic pictures. He traveled again for our wedding this summer and gave us the most amazing pictures. He's fantastic to work with, very responsive, and does a great job setting up shots while also just letting you live and it produces beautiful pictures that really capture the moment and the personalities. -
