Hayley did the hair for our wedding and did a fabulous job! The entire bridal party was super happy with how her work turned out and how to stayed looking beautiful throughout the night. Hayley and her team did my hair/make up years ago when I stood up in my friends wedding. After I got engaged and set the date for my wedding I booked Hayley-even though my wedding date was two years away. On such a busy day you don’t want to worry about how you’re going to look. Hayley and her team ensure you look and feel amazing. She’s so kind, professional and talented-I would HIGHLY recommend her for your event.

Hayley and her team are AMAZING. Hayley was incredibly responsive, kind and fun to work with during every part of the process - from the initial inquiry conversation, to the trial, to the day of the wedding, it felt more like hanging with a friend. Her and Erin were super prompt the morning of my wedding, and were unbelievably quick and efficient, while having amazing attention to detail for each and every girl. All of the girls looked absolutely beautiful and loved their looks. We had 10 people to get ready that day, and Hayley and Erin not only made everyone look stunning, but also finished so quickly that we had an unexpected extra hour or so to relax, eat lunch and enjoy the day. The hair and makeup lasted perfectly, everyone looked just as freshly done and well put together at 1am when the reception ended as we did when we first finished. Most of all, Hayley is a DREAM at taking in what you're looking for, and executing it perfectly. I showed Hayley a few pictures, and she created the EXACT look I've always hoped for. Haley and her team were beyond amazing for my wedding on 4/1/17! Her salon in Ferndale is cute and easy to get to for the trial. She always answered emails very quickly and had so much helpful information. The day of could have not gone more flawless. Everything was organized, prepared and on time which was so nice! I loved my hair and make up! My bridesmaids, mom, aunt and MIL all got their hair and make up done and they were so pleased! Thank you so much for being such an amazing part of our wedding!!!

If a big event is in your future and you've stumbled across this review, chances are you've already started the marathon of poring over multiple vendors, taking way too many screenshots, and trying to remain impartial before thoroughly weighing pros and cons of your potential vendors (though the one with more $$ next to it is almost always the one you want!). But fear not! As someone who has been there and made it to the other side, I can confidently attest to the many reasons why The Knot recognized Drop Dead Gorgeous a "Best of Weddings" beauty vendor -- this team checked all of the boxes and more. First off, Hayley is very personable and was very responsive to all of my inquiries, from before initiating a contract all the way up until the day before the wedding. The first time we met was during the hair and makeup trial (highly encouraged!), where she was able to take a few of the photos I had sent her a few days before and translate it beautifully in a way that complimented my features. The day of my wedding, Hayley and Melissa arrived at my doorstep ahead of schedule and proceeded to work 10 individual hair and makeup appointments in parallel without breaking a sweat. Hayley didn't even take a break to eat. Like true professionals, they not only took tasteful, creative license when necessary (e.g. a "loose up-do" request) , but they also executed specific or very detailed requests. Importantly, our makeup photographed beautifully and lasted all day, despite the humid weather. Hayley, I cannot thank you enough. Hayley and her crew were AMAZING! Having them on site morning of the wedding just added to the fun of the day. They were super efficient and on time which gave the bridesmaids more time to relax throughout the day. Everyone was so complimentary (both in the wedding party and guests) about how great everyone looked - and people kept asking me if my hair was fake because it looked so perfect. No extensions here, just the magic of Hayley Suder!

Where do I begin?!?! Hayley is AHHHHHH-MAZING! She not only exactly captured what I was looking for in my hair and makeup for my trial run, but she even (within 10 minutes, not even kidding) did another hairstyle change for my Gatsby themed holiday party for work--no extra charge. She is the sweetest and most enjoyable person. She did an even more incredible job on my hair and makeup for the wedding and all my bridesmaids and M-I-L raved about her afterwards. A year before the wedding I spent FOREVER looking for hair/makeup artist to travel to Macomb County and was only finding companies that were way out of my budget. Found DDG through a Google search and booked with Hayley about a year out....best choice I made!

She was quick in responding to any and all emailed questions I asked her and did a wonderful job with myself, bridesmaids and my mother. If I do say so myself, everyone looked STUNNING! The airbrush make up and stood the test against tears, the humidity and a night of dancing!

With both the trial and wedding day, she arrived prompt and was extremely professional but also fun and friendly, definitely a great match with our bridal party...I can't wait to find an occasion where I can call on her awesome skills again!

Hayley is AMAZING!! My daughter and I hired her to do our hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding. Neither of us wear makeup, so we wanted to find a way to look flawless and still feel like ourselves. Hayley really took her time working with us to find the look we felt comfortable with. She never minded adding or removing something and the final looks were great and we got so many compliments on our hair and makeup and everything held up all night! Besides being great at hair and makeup, I truly liked Hayley. She is so friendly and we loved hanging out with her! She is someone I would love to have as a friend! I highly recommend her!!
