Eugene and Andrea (The Drakes) were the best choice we could have made for our wedding video team. From our first call almost a year before our wedding I knew right away the husband and wife duo were the perfect fit! We felt at such ease having them film our wedding day. They totally understood and loved our wedding vision, our connection as a couple and what was important for us to capture through out the weekend. They are so talented, creative, fun, high energy and blended into our wedding as if they were guests on the dance floor. Our favorite part was when Eugene handed my husband and I the video camera to film on the dance floor from our point of view. Where to begin?! There are too many amazing things to say about The Drakes and how they captured one of the most incredible times of our lives to fit in one single review. We met Eugene and Andrea at our gym shortly after getting engaged and we feel honored to be able to continue a relationship with them following our adventure elopement in Sedona. I truly believe it was fate that we met in that way. Had I simply come across their films without knowing them, I would’ve felt intimidated by such talent! If you’ve watched any of their films, you know they’re phenomenal at what they do, but aside from being incredibly talented, they are two beautiful souls! Given that they would be the only other people around us during this moment, we wanted to be sure we felt comfortable being ourselves. They are such a breath of fresh air and felt like best friends! Throughout our wedding experience they remained professional and mastered our vision. The opportunity they have provided us with being able to go back in time through videos and photos is one you cannot put a price tag on. We get so emotional every time we go through our photos and videos experiencing the many different emotions and vibes of the entire experience. Through the process of planning our wedding/elopement we thoroughly discussed what was truly important for us. We all know weddings can get pricey very quickly, but when you begin cutting out all the things that are not important, it becomes easier to fit in all that is important to you and your partner. Being able to relive this experience and capturing who we are as a couple is what was important to us. Being in the moment with just each other and at peace. Having The Drakes go through that multi-day journey and guiding us, provided us with an outcome far greater than we could've ever imagined. Our family, friends, and even strangers have cried while viewing the films! They are so thankful for the amazing content we can share with them to take them into the moment with us and feel the emotions we were feeling. We couldn't have dreamt of better videographers and photographers for our special wedding adventure! Everything was beyond perfect! We are so grateful for the entire team! The first 3 things I had to figure out about my wedding were 1. the groom 2. the location 3. how to get the Drakes as my videographer. When you see their work, you will understand why. I honestly was low-key nervous that my wedding wasn't going to be cool enough compared to all the weddings I've seen the Drakes shoot. Ummm I was soo wrong; I'm sure all those weddings were amazing, but it is also because the Drakes know what they're doing. Eugene met with my husband and I beforehand to help plan things out and scope out locations & ideas we did not even think about for our wedding video. Eugene was honestly the best vendor we could have had on our wedding day! The energy and skills he brought to our wedding were out of this world! He knew what he was doing to get all the right shots & it felt like we had known him for years! My family and friends are still raving about him to this day. He showed up with his 2nd shooter and instantly started scouting out the place to be well prepared for the start of the day, he showed up early and ready to go it was amazing! He never made me feel stressed, only confident that he knew what he was doing and let him work his magic. He danced around the dancefloor with my family and friends all night and made me feel comfortable. We can't wait to see our videos and will forever recommend The Drakes to anyone!! Creative, flexible, dependable and kind

WOW!! I can’t say enough good things about The Drakes! I first found Eugene Drake on Instagram and became instantly obsessed with his and his teams work, but after he did an amazing job shooting my friends wedding, and the fact my wedding planner had nothing but great things to say about The Drakes, I knew I had to book them. You can tell The Drakes take pride in creating and delivering an amazing product, because they value everything from capturing the smallest details to the biggest moments. Eugene doesn’t just want to give you video footage of your wedding day, he wants to make it look like you were in an Oscar winning performance...and he does! He knows good lighting when he sees it; he makes art out of small motions...like leaves on a tree or a veil in the wind; he truly captures the essence of your wedding! I had high expectations for Eugene, (simply because all of his work is outstanding) and he blew them out of the water! I met Eugene and his team for the first time on my wedding day, and they immediately understood my personality and vibe, which made the day that much more fun. As someone who is awkward in front of the camera, Eugene made me feel super comfortable and actually enjoy being in the spotlight. Aside from being creative geniuses The Drake team is very communicative, punctual, friendly, super fun, professional and all around so enjoyable to work with...as bride on your wedding day, you want to be surrounded by just that! I recommend them to anyone...and if you’re on the fence about booking The Drakes, do it! I promise you will not regret it!

I cannot speak more highly of the Drakes. From the time I first reached out, to our 'Love Story' filming in NYC, to our wedding in Houston (re-planned due to Covid), the Drakes were an absolute joy to work with. Not only do they have the biggest hearts, but they are wildly talented, professional, and it is apparent that their clients are their highest priority. The quality of their work is truly unmatched. Would give them 100 stars if I could!!

It was love at first sight...with Eugene's talent! The first video of his that we watched, we knew we had found our videographer. We wanted something unique and fresh and Eugene's work drew us in. Meeting Eugene in person and getting to know him just confirmed that he would be able to capture our love and our story. Eugene went above and beyond and blew our expectations out of the water. He made us feel like we were stars in our own movie. Eugene captured the small often overlooked precious moments from our wedding and created a beautiful narrative that truly celebrates our love for each other. We plan on working with him for future events because talent and eye for story-telling like his are hard to find!

I have never treasured photos more. I was blown away by Eugene’s work. Truly an amazing artist. So personable and made us all feel SO comfortable in front of the camera. I can not recommend him enough!!!!!!
