Donna was everything and more that we could have asked for in a wedding photographer. From the minute we talked to her on the phone prior to booking her, we felt incredibly comfortable with her. Neither of us are overly artsy individuals, nor have we ever been ones to enjoy posed photographs, but we could immediately tell that Donna would be able to take our ideas and run with them. Our engagement shoot was absolutely amazing, Donna was more than happy to bounce around Madison and try out a few different locations and outfits with us. We were blown away by our engagement pictures and absolutely knew we made the right choice after that! She is so easy to work with and is beyond talented and creative. She spent a ton of time with us not only on our wedding day, but the day of our rehearsal as well. Having her with us on the day before our wedding to scope out shots at our venue and help walk us through the rehearsal was absolutely invaluable - this is not something that we saw any other photographers offer, nor something we thought we needed, but it made a big difference! Her second shooter, Danny, was amazing to work with as well. Donna and Danny spent the morning of our wedding handling details shots and our first look, which went off without a hitch because of Donna’s coordination. She gave directions when we needed them, and let us do our own thing when we didn’t. Not once did we feel that any of our posed pictures were forced or awkward. Our dog was present for both our engagement shoot and wedding as well, and Donna was happy to work with him and keep him focused, which was a must for us! At the end of the day, we are so incredibly happy that we came upon Donna’s page and chose her as our wedding photographer. Her prices are competitive, her work is amazing, and she’s an absolute dream to work with!
