My husband and I would highly recommend the officiant, Donald Miller. First off, he has such a wonderful, calm, pleasant, and charming demeanor that it just captures you…even my mom, who’s let’s just say, very standoffish. In fact, after the haze of the bridal show I attended, Donald was the one vendor that stood out in my mind the most. Second, he used to be a wedding planner for 20 years, so on our first consultation, he not only did the usual review of how we wanted our vows, but he also wanted to know about the rest of our wedding plans, including helping us budget for each vendor. On top of that, he actually came to my last dress fitting to make sure my dress was altered correctly. Astonished that this was above what he had to do, I asked him, if he wanted payment for his added advice and assistance, and he kindly said, “No, I just love weddings. It’s my life.”
On the wedding day, he arrived very early, and continued to go above and beyond his duties. He made sure all the corsages were doled out, he hand corrected all the mens' boutonnières, touched up our table settings, and finally brought my bridal party and my bouquet up to my dressing room. He even stayed a few moments to talk to me and make sure I wasn’t too nervous. I have to hold myself back from crying, but I’ll never forget how wonderful and caring he was. My mother wasn’t there for me a lot during the wedding planning and while I was getting ready the day of, and if it wasn’t for my mother-in-law, my friend, and him, I would have had no support. My husband and I are so grateful Donald Miller was apart of our wedding.
