Having a good DJ was a huge priority for us- we were recommended Chris by a friend and couldn’t be happier! He was easy to work with and we immediately felt we could trust him with our day. We loved the uplighting, booth with our names, and our guests had so much fun at the Photo Booth! He was flexible, accommodating our requests, kept the vibes high all night with a full dance floor, took some awesome photos and videos (an unexpected bonus), and smoothly MC’d everything from start to finish.
One last note of gratitude - as we were wrapping our private reception reveal, he asked if we wanted to rehearse our first dance (which was choreographed). It was a simple thing but really helped my nerves and gave us a special moment all to ourselves.

Truly could not have asked for a better DJ. Chris really went above and beyond what we hoped for!! There was such a large variety of music we wanted played - from Pop to Rap to Cambodian to Reggaeton to some Emo Rock and he blended everything so seamlessly. People were on the dance floor all night and after the wedding, everyone could not stop singing him praises!

From booking to the night of the wedding everything was smooth and easy. He was responsive and really advocated for us as a couple which was so nice to have in a DJ because decision fatigue is so real. he listened to our needs and wants and executed them perfectly throughout the wedding.

Chris & his team were great to work with for our September 2026 wedding in D.C. He worked with us on our music preferences and was more than happy to help make a 10+ acapella set happen during our reception. Thank you so so much for an incredible Saturday night! The DJing was absolute perfection and so many of our guests said that the playlist was fire and nonstop hit after hit. My inner goal was to keep the dance floor alive all night and you read the room beautifully. I can’t thank you enough for providing such a fun experience for our guests (and us!). Being able to dance with my friends, but also my older family members meant so much to me. These are the moments that I will forever remember because, like everyone says, the wedding day is such a blur.

I also wanted to thank you for seamless microphone and speaker set ups for the ceremony and the reception. Those were equally important and I’m so excited to see the video. Thank you for working with my Mom for her speech and for the slideshow. Your set up was beautiful and so professional.

And of course, huge shout out to Jillian for the photobooth. I’m so glad that we had the manned photobooth. I just looked through all the photos, and these are some incredible memories that I’m glad that the guests were able to take and keep and that we also have a copy of it ourselves.

We could not recommend DJ Phlipz any more highly. He traveled to Puerto Rico for our wedding and was truly the MVP of the entire event.

Chris brought his experience and insights to our planning calls, making recommendations and suggestions that genuinely improved the logistical side of things and made our lives easier. He rolled with the punches on the day as we grappled with a literal rave next door as our wedding was getting started.

DJ Phlipz worked with me and my wife to cultivate a mix and a vibe that was authentic to us while also threading the needle of getting parents and grandparents on the dance floor...before throwing 100 MPH gas for the last hour plus, banger after banger, that kept everybody going absolutely nuts on the dance floor. My only regret is that I only get to experience it all once--but I will forever have the memory of the greatest night of my life and DJ Phlipz and his team was a massive, massive part of that.
