I'm a professional event planner with a lot of really great vendor contacts, so when my bride and I were starting to plan our wedding I had a really good sense of who I wanted to work with. I've always enjoyed working with DJ Mocha. She has a really great sense of the room and a pretty eclectic playlist to choose from. Some DJs have an attitude when you ask them to play requests - because they've already planned out their playlist. Not DJ Mocha, she somehow managed to fit in almost all of our guests' requests - perfectly timing them so there was never a jarring moment on the dance floor. She also wove in all of the requests we sent her in advance - even purchased songs we liked that she didn't already own.

Her genius is most appreciated while we watched snippets of our wedding video and realized she played the perfect songs as we moved from cake cutting (or in our case cupcake eating) to toasts, etc. She was an excellent emcee and worked beautifully with our caterer to keep us on schedule.

Beyond being a really competent DJ, she is also a really easy going person and clearly enjoys being a part of celebrations. Prior to DJing my wedding she has been the DJ at charity events I organize. A few weeks after our wedding she was the DJ at my non-profit's 1100 person gala.
