Basically, Ken is awesome. Really awesome. So awesome that I'm trying to figure out events where I can hire him again to DJ. Is it too much to DJ at a baby shower? hm.
Anyways, now. I'm. gonna. blow. you. away.
First of all, a friend of mine got married on June 21st, 2008. It was about one year before my wedding and I was overwhelmed with who to choose as a DJ. When I asked her for any recommendations, she immediately said "You HAVE to hire DJ Ken Anolin. He is SO FUNNY. He is SO GOOD". I was sold right there.
See, the thing is. I'm a picky person. Like, very picky perfectionist failure-is-not-an-option kind of person. And being that, it was going to be my wedding. Oh man. Had to be perfect.
My wedding was Oct. 3, 2009. Anyways, for beginning to end, Ken is professional, responsible, hilarious and SO creative (with song choice). I mean, this is the kind of person you want in every type of business. He answered all my emails so quickly. He answered all my neurotic questions. He reassured me that everything was going to be fine. He was so patient in waiting for my exceptionally long list of songs (hey man, my husband is even pickier with songs than I am!). Everyone had such a great time. Lets just say that the music got our guests pumped up SO much that my photographer was able to catch many upon many amusing photos of our wedding guests tearing up the dance floor. Thats how good Ken is. Where your photographer can get those "blackmail" hilarious photos because that one usually quiet groomsmen decides to freak all the ladies on the dance floor. Thanks Ken. Thats all you, man.
Can you believe it? A wedding vendor completely free of any stress! Believe me, during the wedding planning, Ken made things so much easier for me because he is SO responsible and professional.
And you know what. I'm not even finished!
Guess what? I referred him to my other friend for her wedding and she booked him too! Her wedding (June 2009) was complicated one because it was at Villa Montalvo. If you've ever been to a wedding there, you'll soon find out the complicated nature of multiple rooms that all need music. Somehow, Ken was able to organize a network of multiple speakers of multiple rooms all coinciding. And these multiple rooms have tons of stairs and other obstacles in between the ceremony's garden area, the appetizer fountain area and the dinner reception patio area. Ken is a genius and it still amazes me how he was able to handle that wedding. And this friend is the type of friend who would complain if she was unhappy. She didn't complain. She was very pleased.
So there you go. 3 weddings done by Ken. All well done. 3 happy brides. Thanks Ken! You're a lifesaver.
