Highly Recommend

We are so grateful for the incredible experience we had from start to finish with Jim. He was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire wedding process. He was easy to communicate with and well organized. He arrived early for set up and sound check, and was the ultimate professional. He was responsive and available throughout the day. An ‘epic dance party’ was one of the bride and groom’s number one wishes for the wedding, and DJ Jim did not disappoint. The dance floor was full the entire night and the dance vibe was legendary. His emcee skills for the speeches and introductions were spot on. He is personable and friendly. We would highly recommend DJ Jim.

Best DJ!!!

Jim was recommended to us by our photographer. I could not imagine having any other DJ than Jim. He was so easy going, responsive, flexible, and made the entire experience stress-free and perfect. All our guests loved him, he kept the party going, and really set the perfect vibe for our wedding. He was on time with all his cues, played everything we ask, and was a pleasure to deal with! A month later, and we are still getting comments from friends and family about how great her was! I highly highly recommend DJ Jim Severance!!

Wedding - Sept. 2025

Jim was very punctual and professional. He played requested songs and everyone had such a great time. He listened to all of our preferences with music and provided the best experience for everyone. Jim’s service is super budget friendly especially for the quality service he provides. I would recommend his service to absolutely anyone!

Great experience!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Jim is so fantastic to work with and really made things as easy as possible. He played great songs and we didn’t have to worry about having a good time. I could not recommend him enough!

Romano Wedding

Jim was a fantastic DJ for our wedding. The entire process was easy and smooth. He gave us deadlines that were easy to meet leading up to the wedding. During our last meeting, he was very flexible with what we wanted for our ceremony and reception. His knowledge of event planning was amazing because of his experience of this for several years. Everything was great the day of and all prepared to our liking. He knew how to transition into different areas from the reception and really got the guests involved to make our day special. I'd recommend him to everyone who is planning a wedding or big company event.

Jim was the best choice!

Jim was an absolute professional from the start of our planning process through the very end of our day. He set up a meeting with us ahead of time to talk about our needs and covered all of our concerns, and also brought up a few things that we hadn’t thought of yet which helped to make our night even better than we could have expected. He was able to do both our ceremony and reception in different locations all by himself, he made sure to include the songs we had chosen, and was able to do all the things we asked of him seamlessly. We 100% recommend him for your future wedding needs, he is respectful, fun, and keeps the vibes exactly where you want them to be.

If you are looking for a DJ to keep your guests on the dance floor all night, Jim is your guy! Not only does he exude professionalism from the very first contact, Jim is a joy to work with and is willing to go the extra mile to make your day special. If I'm ever in search of a DJ for another special event, I will only hire Jim!

DJ Jim was Very Professional and Courteous

DJ Jim was right on cue and organized from the start. He stuck to the plan and adjusted things as needed throughout the night. His equipment and sound was good quality and tuned in. We were glad we hired DJ Jim.
