We were extremely impressed with his forethought, and attention to detail when it came to music selection. He came to our first meeting with a detailed questionnaire to get to know our music tastes. When we hit walls for what types of music to play at parts of our wedding, he came in with fantastic suggestions. He absolutely nailed the vibe of the wedding that we wanted. An example, my wife and I were struggling with what music to play for cocktail hour, he reviewed his notes on us, and gave us a playlist that was wedding appropriate, but also fit our music tastes. We had dozens of guests compliment the music all night, from the cocktail hour, dinner to the dance floor. He was also an excellent MC and kept things on schedule throughout the night. He took requests from pre-approved guests but also kept our vibe in mind when playing songs. He played a pivotal part in what made our wedding memorable.

He was incredibly chill yet professional and detail oriented. And generally super fun to be around! Can’t have your DJ be a buzzkill. At the same time he doesn’t have any of that over-the-top showy vibe you sometimes get with wedding DJs… he wasn’t forcing the fun on anybody, just creating a great atmosphere to match the mood of the crowd. Jay is incredible! He helped us with our outdoor wedding which included audio for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The planning process was smooth, and he was flexible with finding some times to meet up before the big day. He listened to the vision and vibe we wanted and brought it to life.
