From the moment we booked Jay, we knew we were in for something special. Not only did he completely NAIL the vibe we wanted for our wedding, but he also went above and beyond to make our big day unforgettable.
The pre-wedding consultation was so helpful—Jay took the time to really understand our vision, from the ceremony to the reception, and suggested personalized touches that made all the difference. On the big day, their energy was infectious! The music selection was perfect—whether it was for the romantic first dance or keeping the party rocking all night long, DJ Jay Curry knew exactly what to play to keep the dance floor packed!
One of the highlights was how seamlessly they blended different genres to cater to everyone’s tastes. Guests from all age groups were dancing and having a blast. The transitions were smooth, and there was never a dull moment.
On top of their amazing skills as a DJ, Jay was super professional, organized, and had the best low-key, laid-back attitude. He worked with our timeline and even helped guide our guests through special moments like cocktail hour and speeches.

We used Jay as our wedding DJ and would highly recommend him. He took time to meet with us well ahead of the event to understand our vision and musical taste. He created playlists that kept the party going, gave us direct coaching as to what he needed from us to make the event successful, and went above and beyond to make our vision for a silent disco at the end of the night happen. -

Jay was a super awesome and fun DJ. We had a couple prep sessions leading up to the wedding to talk through the kinds of music we wanted, and he gave great advice on what kinds of songs would work best for each part. He was incredibly chill yet professional and detail oriented. And generally super fun to be around! Can’t have your DJ be a buzzkill. At the same time he doesn’t have any of that over-the-top showy vibe you sometimes get with wedding DJs… he wasn’t forcing the fun on anybody, just creating a great atmosphere to match the mood of the crowd. Book him! -

Jay seriously knows how to throw a party on the dance floor!! We got his business card after a friend’s wedding and had so much fun we had to have him at ours a year later! We met up a few times beforehand and he made the planning process super easy. It didn’t take long to narrow down our song choices & overall vibe for the ceremony & reception. When it finally came to the big day, he absolutely crushed it!! The ceremony music & timing was spot on, and the post-dinner reception turned into a true party! All our guests had so much fun on the dance floor. The energy stayed up all night, and he accommodated any song requests we had as the bride & groom. Everyone told us afterwards how much they enjoyed the reception thanks to his DJ’ing - we can’t recommend him enough!! -

So much fun!!!!
I am SO happy we hired Jay as our wedding DJ. It was really important to me to have a fun dance floor- everyone out there dancing and having a great time, and that’s exactly what we had!!! Jay was so much fun to work with, very responsive and helpful every step of the way. We had a zoom call a couple weeks before the wedding and worked out so many details, it really helped me feel calm going into our wedding day. He was one of our absolute favorite vendors we worked with for our wedding. You need Jay as your DJ!! -

We loved having Jay Dj our wedding. He went above and beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly. He knew exactly what we were looking for on several different occasions.
I've been to a ton of weddings but I've never seen a DJ that is able to understand the dance floor and change up the song when the crowd is not feeling it. -

Jay is awesome! Such a friendly, warm, and easy going spirit. He made us feel at ease with his confidence and expertise in what he does. My partner and I were pretty particular about the music and provided him with a couple of Spotify playlists of favorite songs and a breakdown of the different vibes we wanted for each stage of our wedding (Pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, dance...etc). He is not limited to one genre and was able to blend everything perfectly. When it came time to dance, Jay sampled and mixed the songs so that everything flowed. He was able to keep the energy high and all generations dancing. He had another wedding during the previous day during rehearsal dinner so wasn’t able to practice the music ahead of time with us, but he coordinated with our wedding planner and other vendors so well, it wasn’t a problem at all! Thanks to his experience and attention to detail, everything went perfectly! -

Jay Curry is the man!! We were referred to Jay when our original DJ became unavailable on our new wedding date after we had to postpone our celebration during the midst of covid.
Everything was so smooth and easy from the get go. My husband and I were living outside of Washington leading up to the wedding so we weren’t able to meet in person so we had a few FaceTime sessions to get to know each other. Jay is so easy to connect with, after each phone call my husband and I would be like “Wow Jays the best”. It was really reassuring working with someone who is so knowledgeable about the wedding industry and we really appreciated the tips he provided to help the evening run smoothly.
Not only did Jay really take into account the songs/vibes we requested but he definitely read the room really well throughout the whole evening. He helped us with the timeline of the whole event and really stayed on top of everything.
Our guests had so much fun at our wedding and we thank Jay for that!
Having to push back our reception a year and re plan the event created a lot of stress but it allowed us to have a killer DJ and we are so thankful for that!! -

Jay was a joy to work with! He flowed with all of our silly eclectic request and brought such amazing energy into the space. It is so clear he loves what he does and he has an innate ability to connect and vibe. The music was exactly what we wanted and the dance floor was an absolute blast. From inquiry to the party, DJ Jay Curry was a gem to work with. We chatted over FaceTime to get a feel for each other, then met up and worked out all of the details we wanted at our reception and how we wanted Jay to present it with our guests. Easiest guy to talk to, so don’t get overwhelmed that you’ll miss anything. He is very personable.
He is great at keeping in touch leading up to the big day, which was a nice, not having to worry about anything.
The day of, he read the group very well, feeling out the vibes and how to transition music and the flow of the party to best keep the good times rolling.
Thanks Jay for helping make our wedding weekend unforgettable. -

Hire this dj
Jay was the DJ at our wedding and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better one. It was almost two years ago and we still to this day get comments about how amazing he was. He had a bomb playlist that had a little bit of everything for everyone and it made the dance floor packed all night. He was so incredibly professional, fun, witty, friendly, organized...the list goes on and on. The wedding planner we had at the venue wasn’t super involved in helping with the ceremony and Jay stepped up at the rehearsal and knew exactly what to do, when to do it, and in what order. He went above and beyond the DJ role. We can’t recommend him enough! -

We were so happy we hired Jay Curry as our DJ. He ended up coordinating much of our reception, showing much initiative and also helped the rehearsal go smoothly. His persona put us, the bride and groom, at ease during a stressful time and we also heard many positive things about him from our wedding guests. I would highly recommend him to other couples looking for a fun, easygoing, but also highly responsible DJ.
