I am so grateful that we hired Angela as our day-of coordinator. She served as an excellent point person, coordinating our various vendors leading up to the wedding and on the day of. I was on the fence about hiring a day-of coordinator early in our planning process, thinking we could manage without one. So glad I wised up! Our event would have been so stressful without her. With Angela handling logistics, my husband and I were able to focus on each other and our guests, which made our day much more enjoyable.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Angela. We wanted our special day to be unforgettable and what we ended up with was beyond our expectations. Omg what can I say?!?!! Angela gave me the wedding of my dreams!!! She was always so fun to sit down with and talk to, and I felt like she really listened to what I wanted. Especially since I wanted something very different. I really didn’t even know what to call the look I was going for, but Angie payed attention and pulled together the most beautiful wedding ever!!!! Diverse Diva did an outstanding job helping us finalize the details of our wedding and managing everyone on the day of. My wife and I couldn't imagine not having her there to help us get everything together. She also met with us several times before hand to discuss our event. Her attention to detail is superb and she caught several things we had overlooked. On top of that she is super nice and easy to work with. We both absolutely recommend her for your event as well.

This girl knows how to plan a wedding, I've seen her at work as I've filmed a few weddings that she's planned. She's awesome, fun and knows how to keep the wedding day on track One thing I really love about her is she always makes sure to let the videographers and photographers know when any special surprise moments might be coming up to make sure we don't miss capturing anything.

Turns out planning a wedding is a huge task! With only 4 months until the big day, and after spending hours and hours of time trying to piece all the parts together ourselves, my (now) husband and I were exhausted and only about 20% done with the planning. Enter Angela. Angela is kind, professional, and very well connected. Within a matter of weeks we, we were on schedule, with tons of fabulous options for invites, bakers, and florists. And let's talk about the day of! Angela was just great, at the venue fielding questions from vendors and taking care of our every need. Highly recommended.

There are so many good things we have to say about Angela that we don’t even know where to begin. We were a little hesitant at first, because the only really diverse factor about my wife and I is that we are gay. Other than that we wanted a very classic wedding with a very traditional feel to it. Upon meeting her we were immediately taken with how simply kind, genuine, and caring she was. We began to plan our wedding with her help about a year in advance and during the entire process she did an incredible job of making us feel comfortable and as stress free as possible when you are planning a wedding! On the day of our wedding she was an absolute lifesaver in making sure everything was running smoothly and everything was in it’s place. Additionally, she even handled every bride’s worst nightmare when the quartet we hired informed us less than an hour in advance that their car had broken down and they might not be able to make it to the wedding in time. She handled it like a champ and had a backup plan ready to go within minutes. We seriously cannot express how grateful we are to her for all her help and truly feel as if we simply had a really good friend looking over our shoulder and handling everything for us on our wedding day. In fact, now that the wedding is over both my wife and I will greatly miss our coffee wedding planning sessions! We hope to see you around Angela! Thank you again for everything!

Angela was so great. Not only did she help with everything a wedding planner should (timeline, budget, questions that come up), but she's also genuinely kind and enthusiastic about making the wedding the best event it can be.

The highest praise I can give Angie is that the night before our wedding, as my then-fiancée/now-wife was panicking over last minute details, she suddenly calmed and said, "That's right, Angie's already taken care of that; I don't need to worry, I know Angie's got my back." I can't tell you how valuable it was having that stress relieved, and that was Angie throughout the entire, year-long planning time. She was always available at a moment's notice, had brilliant ideas about how to resolve an issue or improve an idea, she was willing to do anything needed to make the experience easier for us, she put us in touch with fantastic vendors, and was simply great to be around. Angie had our back every step of the way and our wedding ended up going off better than we could have hoped for--a ton of that was due to Angie.

I've gotta say that Angela Thompson Cordova is one hard working woman! I can totally see why you would hire a wedding or event planner now. I watched her in action at an event that I helped her with. She kept having people come and ask her tons of questions about what was next and what people need to do. She had all the answers and kept the event running smoothly. I would hate for my day to feel overwhelmed by questions when I'm supposed to be enjoying the day. I love that she takes the hassle out of having a party and makes it so you enjoy your day.
