About the Owner...

Howard Packer, Founder Dial-a-DJ and Entertainment

Howard got his start in radio in 1976 after graduating from Bauder College in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida with a degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting.

Howard spent several years working in some of South Florida's hottest night spots as a DJ./Entertainment Director. Some of these clubs included Bachelor's 3, The Candy Store and Mr. Pips. He spent 3 years cruising the world as the top Disc Jockey performer for Norweigen Cruise Lines onboard the S.S Norway Cruise ship. In 1980 Howard founded Dial-a-DJ Mobile Entertainment.

Howard has worked with many celebrities and shared the stage with such names as Dan Marino, The Fifth Dimension, Phillis Diller, The Platters, The Association. The Mamas and the Papas, Bob Marley, Lee Majors, Firefall, and Johnny Depth, just to name a few.

For over 32 years, Howard's unique programs of music, games, contests and dance have helped many event planners, hundreds of families, and companies make their events unforgettable, successful, and fun!

Howard is a receipient of the Ft. Lauderdale Winterfest Boat Parade, Best Music and Entertainment Award. He is also a current member of the Board of Directors of the American Disc Jocky's Association, South Florida Chapter.
