I love Darby! (the owner and photographer of DFW Fine Arts). I worked with Darby for our engagement pictures, bridal portraits, boudoir photo session, and complete day of coverage. He was amazing through out the entire process!
We did our engagement pictures at The State Fair of TX. I was not sure what he would think of the idea, but he was excited! We have so many amazing pictures and I’m so happy we did it there. Darby was patient and persistent to get the perfect shot. He had great vision and was flexible enough to let us get some silly shots too.
I did my bridal portraits at The Orchard, which is the wedding venue we chose. Again, Darby had great vision and was able to get some beautiful pictures. He also let me get creative by taking some pictures down by the creek, in a tree, and with some horses. I love my pictures and I’m so happy we got some unique shots that really work.
I was definitely a little nervous when it came to the boudoir session, but Darby was 100 percent professional and put me at ease. I did them in a hotel room and brought along a few girlfriends. And some champagne of course! It ended up being a fun experience and I got to give my husband an amazing wedding day gift… A black book full of sexy pictures of his bride. The book looks amazing and it put together so well. I’m really happy I decided to do this for my husband and that Darby was my photographer.
On our wedding day Darby and his assistant, Sarah, were great! Darby and Sarah worked great together. Sarah was in the room with us while we were getting ready and really helped direct all the posed pictures. She was direct, and to the point, and I loved it. Her assertiveness made it so easy to get all our group pictures and make sure we all look good for the picture. We were able to move quickly through the group pictures while still getting good pictures. Darby seemed like he was everywhere at once, but I know he was focused on my husband and I to get lots of amazing pictures of us. I could not be happier.
Darby was great to work with through this process and made everything easy and fun. Best of all I love my pictures!!! Love them!!
