Ron and Kim catered our wedding - which was a far-from-typical event. We had virtually no electricity in our venue and we were supplying our own proteins - but Kim and Ron were super flexible and accommodating. Kim and Ron were professional, polite, and we got so many compliments on how good the catering staff and bartender were at our wedding. The food is also delicious!! Highly recommend them for your upcoming event - they are seasoned pros.

THANK YOU Ron and everyone at Devour for making our wedding a top-notch event! When our guests found out we were having our wedding at our home, they had no idea what a first-class event it would be! Everyone is STILL talking about how great the food was, how friendly and accommodating the staff were and what a special night it was. We started with a make-your-own bruschetta table before the ceremony. The cocktail our consisted of a gorgeous charcuterie spread alongside passed appetizers. We had a family style dinner that began with a fall salad with a raspberry ranch followed by platters of beef, salmon, asparagus and asiago mashed potatoes. We opted to forgo a cake and Ron set up an incredible dessert table that everyone couldn't get enough of! Our menu had to be gluten free to keep my siblings safe and no one batted an eye at the request. Devour was incredibly easy to work with, responded to every phone call and email IMMEDIATELY and made our wedding flawless! Thank you!!!

Very helpful from beginning planning to clean up. Food was delicious & creative servers were very attentive and paid particular attention to guests needs -really watched over bride & groom-their specific requests & made sure they ate too!

Working with Ron and Blake was a real pleasure. The planning meetings before where hard for me but they where very flexible and where always fun and professional. The communication was always there. They had the uncanny ability to know what I wanted and when. The food was outstanding from passed appetizer's to the customized dinner menu to the dessert shooters.

Devour catered our small wedding reception in Oley. The food was amazing! They put together a beautiful meat and cheese table, and the dinner was absolutely delicious! It was very easy to plan with Ron. My husband and I weren't quite sure exactly what we were looking for in our reception, and Ron walked us through every step. The staff he employs are extremely friendly and professional. The pricing was very reasonable. If I were to have any event in the future, Devour Catering would be my go to.

The Devour team handled our wedding in 2020. From start to finish everything was flawless . They took there time to create a menu that our whole family still talks about one year later. They were always available to answer any of our questions about the way.

Working with Ron and Devour was a fun experience. When we had our first meeting he asked us what kinds of foods we liked to eat and what items we thought we might enjoy off his menu. You could really feel his love for food.
We decided on a buffet style dinner and our guests loved the food! I stuffed my face with appetizers; mini quesadillas and PB&Js.

When my wife an I decided to renew our wedding vows we also wanted our closest friends to join us with an after party. Devour catered our fall wedding, and we had a mostly positive experience with them. The appetizers and dinner were excellent, and we were able to have exactly the menu and features we wanted for a price within our budget. The service staff and bartenders were really helpful and friendly, even going out of their way to compliment us on how nice our family was and making sure we got appetizers when were taking photos during cocktail hour. Kim made sure we got our food first and checked up on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed.

We did have a lot of difficulties in communication before the wedding. Getting in touch with Ron or Kim was almost impossible after our initial meeting, so when we were trying to change things on the plan to meet our budget or even get simple questions answered, it would take weeks. Even trying to get the final balance that we owed them with an updated headcount was like pulling teeth. Thankfully everything got figured out by the end, but it was a massive headache having to deal with the lack of communication especially during the more stressful parts of wedding planning.

Our biggest issue with Devour was how they handled our dessert. We had communicated with Ron at our initial meeting that we were going to be providing a cake and cupcakes that he said they would be happy to display and cut for us. My husband dropped off the cake wrapped in cellophane for protection during transport and a cake topper to add to the cake. When we entered the reception, we found the cake still wrapped in cellophane with icing melting inside the plastic and the cake topper laying in front of the cake on the table, not the beautiful cake display we had envisioned at all. All our wedding cake pictures now feature smashed and melted icing because the cake wasn't put out properly, and many of our guests were not able to even see the cake because it took so long for it to be unwrapped. Then, as the evening got later and guests with early starts the next day began leaving, we didn't have desserts to give them because our cupcakes didn't go out until my husband had to search all around for Kim to get her to set the table up. It felt like a complete afterthought because it was food we had provided ourselves rather than going through them, despite Ron's assurance that us providing our own dessert was completely fine. Worst of all, when putting out the cupcakes, they mixed them all together, including one box of cupcakes specially labeled gluten- and dairy-free which looked entirely different than all of the other cupcakes and had come from a different bakery. We had even provided a label for those specific cupcakes. Our gluten- and dairy-free guests had no idea there were cupcakes for them, and they didn't have dessert because of it. I'm not sure what instructions were or weren't communicated to the caterer from the venue staff who communicated with my husband, but at the very least a different box of cupcakes that was labeled with dietary restrictions should have given the staff pause and made them keep them separate or at least ask us if we wanted them separate if they weren't sure. This was the biggest regret about our wedding, and I really think it could have been handled better by Devour.

We're really grateful to Devour for the menu we had for our wedding, but there were definitely a few things that could have made the whole process a bit better for us.
