We hosted our wedding at DESTIHL — the ceremony in the courtyard and the reception in the Barrel Room. Everything was phenomenal! Our event coordinator, Ally, was so great — easy to work with, communicated well, and helped to bring our vision to life! Everyone raved about the food and drinks. We’ve had friends get engaged since we booked DESTIHL and I always tell them how much I’ve loved working with the team & recommend them to everyone!

The place is absolutely beautiful!!! And they made everything so smooth and easy to deal with. I barely had to do any planning because they literally have everything in one spot, and even booked my DJ for me! They could have booked my photographer for me too, but I decided to use a photographer I work with.

We got married over the past weekend and the staff here are just amazing! The food was fantastic and everything just went perfectly! We highly recommend Destihl for anyone who is thinking of getting married!

My husband and I got married at Destihl Brewery in Normal, IL! From the start, Destihl provides a great package to couples looking to get married in a beautiful location, and our event manager, Ally, was great. Ally was communicative, supportive, detailed, and kind, and she answered all of our questions and guided us through the process with care. On our wedding day and night, as small questions or details came up, she was fantastic with helping us get what we wanted out of our day with no added stress! The food was fantastic, and the drink menu is extensive (and includes fun options like slushies!). We got a number of compliments from our guests on how great the food and drinks were! The outdoor set-up for our wedding ceremony was beautiful, and it was nice to have that space for photos and for guests to use during the reception as well.

The only drawback from our experience was that we could not afford the rate to rent the room for Friday night as a rehearsal dinner, which meant we needed to rehearse in a different space and could not set up in the space until the morning of the event. This may be something for couples to consider when booking this venue, as this led us to book another venue for the rehearsal/rehearsal dinner due to cost.

However, from start to finish, the Destihl team was communicative and understanding of our needs. Having their online portal to use throughout the process is also fantastic: the portal contains a history of all emails/messages sent back and forth from the start of the booking and planning process, as well as all contracts (which was very helpful to see and refer back to when budgeting and after our save-the-date guest numbers dropped when guests had RSVPd). Our event manager, Ally, also wrote us a kind card on our wedding day, and we are so happy we got to work with her!

All in all, we highly recommend!
