We live in Atlanta, and I had never been to Las Vegas before when I hired Desi as our wedding planner. Desi was beyond amazing! Not only is she very responsive and organized, but she is also very kind and friendly. For example, when we came to Las Vegas for our tasting and vendor meetings, Desi surprised my dad with cake pops since she knew it was his birthday soon. That really stuck with me. I felt like Desi was my friend and that I could talk to her about anything. She worked with my unusual ideas without judgment I will miss working with her now that our wedding is over.
Desi explained various components of the wedding to me, offered me sound advice/guidance, and thought of every small detail. She recommended outstanding vendors who were in my budget. I would not have had a dream team without Desi.
As a destination bride, it was very helpful that Desi handled all the day of wedding work, including setting up wedding favors and other supplies, as well as getting my dress steamed and transported to my hotel room. We were very annoying clients because we shipped a lot of things to Desi's house, which was critical since the hotel charged high rates for storing things and we could not pack everything that we needed. I was not nervous on the day of the wedding because I knew everything was in Desi's hands.

That being said, Desi did a lot of work before the day of our wedding. I would recommend to all brides that they hire Desi as a full-time or partial planner because it makes the process much smoother. I would have forgotten a lot of details that I needed to work out with the vendors if it was not for Desi.

In short, DESI IS THE BEST!!!!!!!

We hired Desi to plan our destination wedding at the SLS in Las Vegas, and we can say without a doubt that it was the best decision we made. It was invaluable to have boots on the ground while we planned our wedding from a distance. Desi is knowledgeable, organized, fierce, and sympathetic – we always felt safe under her care. She was so on top of everything that we simply didn’t have to worry about our wedding day. We could go on and on about how great she is, but here are a few reasons:

In the planning stages, Desi takes charge so you don’t have to. She’s so knowledgeable about the whole process that we didn’t have to worry whether or not we were asking the right questions, or if there was something we were missing. She’s got it covered.

Desi brings the plan to life, period. Whether she’s finding replacements for broken decorations, dealing with overzealous security guards (hint: don’t f**k with Desi), or managing hordes of vendors, Desi gets it done.

On the big day, Desi takes care of you (even though she was juggling a ton of different tasks like decorations, AV, lighting, food, beverage, photography, etc). She made sure that we were always comfortable and feeling good about the day. Her husband RJ, who is her second-in-command, is incredibly detail-oriented and set up our reception area flawlessly.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect, even beyond our wildest expectations. That’s because of Desi. Hiring her is a decision you’ll never regret.

When we first began planning our wedding, I wasn't sure if we should hire a wedding planner since we were trying to keep things simple and stick to a reasonable budget. Hiring a planner, and hiring Desi, specifically, was the best decision we made! Desi helped us find an incredible venue that was the perfect blend of features that we were looking for while also keeping us within our budget. Any time I had questions, needed help, or just couldn't make a decision, Desi happily stepped in to assist in whatever way I needed. At every phase of the wedding planning process, Desi was attentive, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful, not to mention friendly and fun to work with! Most importantly, on the day of our wedding, Desi and her husband, RJ, took care of every single detail so that my groom and I didn't have to worry about a thing. People told us that our wedding would be over in the blink of an eye, and that we wouldn't even have time to eat the dinner or finish a drink from the bar. It is certainly true that time passed all too quickly, but Desi and RJ kept us on schedule while still ensuring that we had time to enjoy the delicious meals we had selected and enjoy a drink or two (or more). We felt like guests at our own wedding, and we were able to relax and have fun with our family and friends who had traveled to Vegas to celebrate with us which is exactly what we wanted. It was the perfect evening, and it would not have been possible without Desi and RJ! I would 100% recommend Desi to anyone looking to hire a planner for their Las Vegas event!

I don't even know where to begin....I am absolutely glad I chose Desi to assist me through the process of my big day. She was absolutely amazing from beginning to end. Desi went above and beyond on her duties as my day of coordinator (She was there to assist from the day I hired her months prior). Desi and her husband were extremely helpful and very attentive and accomadating to my needs during the whole process. I worked with Desi on my children's birthday party. She did an amazing job! They wanted a dinosaur theme and they got it. The cake was amazing. It was in the shape of a dinosaur. The decorations made us feel as if we were actually in the Jurassic period. My children couldn't say enough how special the day was and I owe it all to my wonderful event planner. Our guests were in awe and they were eager to find out who planned everything. She listened and accommodated to our every need and whim, going above and beyond what we were hoping for. Desi was such a delight to work with, her and her husband Rj make an amazing team and truly helped our wedding day to run perfectly. Her attention to detail is on point even down to sneaking up to our suite during dinner and putting rose petals in our room everything was perfect . One of the things I really liked as well is the amount of detail she has put together for our timeline the day of, it was so nice that all of our vendors ( we had 8 !) had one point of contact and a detailed timeline of what was happening when. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to take the stress off of them and enjoy their big day .

The wedding planning process can be very chaotic at times and Desi made this process very smooth for me. There were bumps in the road but Desi was there to fix problems as I needed them. She was always lending an ear when I was frustrated or stressed. Desi provided vendors when I had no clue who to go with and all within my budget. I did not worry about a thing on my wedding day and that is the goal. Desi was flexible with me when I wanted to change my mind on ideas. But, most of all, I made a wonderful friendship with such a good-hearted person. Desi went to all lengths to make sure my day was so special and it is the little things that I will remember about her. Like, making sure I ate at my wedding, ensuring my dress would not get caught in the car door at the end of the evening, and including my husband in all details. You cannot get any better than that! And RJ...thank you so much because you are the hardest worker I know and were very kind to me and Jim. Thank you for always thinking one step ahead!
