The Designed Events Catering Service in Jacksonville, Florida, was absolutely phenomena! From the delicious food to the exceptional wait staff, engaging bartenders, and talented Chef Jason, every aspect of their service was truly TOP TIER!

Our wedding guests could not stop raving about the food! Several even asked for the chicken recipe! 🤣 And when your guests are complimenting the vegetables, you KNOW the chef has done something special\! Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and thoroughly enjoyed.

For our wedding reception, my husband and I intentionally selected a buffet-style dinner because we wanted our guests to enjoy a variety of dishes without being limited to one protein, as they might have been with a plated meal. What I didn’t anticipate, however, was the extraordinary level of service that accompanied our buffet selection.

To my pleasant surprise, the wait staff was actively circulating throughout the reception, attentively tending to our guests and ensuring they were comfortable and well cared for. That unexpected level of hospitality added an elegant, sophisticated touch that elevated the entire dining experience. The servers were professional, gracious, and genuinely kind, while the bartenders brought the perfect combination of professionalism, warmth, and fun!

Hospitality was especially important to us because approximately 80% of our 130 wedding guests traveled from out of state to celebrate our special day. We wanted every person to feel welcomed, appreciated, and exceptionally cared for. The Designed Events delivered exactly that!

Throughout the evening, my husband and I made a point of asking several guests about their dining experience, particularly whether they enjoyed the food and had enough to eat. The responses were overwhelmingly positive! Time and time again, we heard how excellent the food was, and everyone assured us they had more than enough. In fact, several guests happily went back for seconds! 🥰

Not one guest shared a negative comment about their dining experience. Instead, we received compliments about the food, the service, and the overall elegance of our reception.

Looking back, I am incredibly grateful that my husband and I chose The Designed Events to cater our wedding. They did so much more than serve an outstanding meal. They helped create an atmosphere of warmth, sophistication, and genuine hospitality that reflected exactly what we envisioned for our celebration.

Designed Events impressed us from the Menu Tasting through our Wedding Reception! Mark surprised us by not only bringing linens (we forgot to order linens for the buffet tables) but he also brought some greens to dress up the buffet line.
