The Desert Outdoor Center was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding. The staff there was fantastic to work with and the backdrop of the scenery in the distance was incredible. Definitely recommend having your wedding there!

If you are looking to have an outdoor wedding on a mountain top overlooking the beautiful lake pleasant, then look no further. The staff here was ready to answer all questions including logistics. The price is amazing but remember this is a DIY wedding venue, meaning you decide on caterer, wedding cake, dj etc. This makes your wedding uniquely yours! The afternoon of our wedding the winds picked up and the back up plan went into effect. Everything was quickly moved indoors: tables, chairs, decor, memorial table etc. Once my wife and I arrived everything was perfectly set up and candles lit. It was better than I expected. The staff here is amazing, professional and met with us several times before to iron out the details. It was a wonderful day I will never forget!

The Desert Outdoor Center at Lake Pleasant was absolutely perfect for our wedding. We were looking for a venue unique to Arizona and that is exactly what we got!! We used the outdoor patio for both cocktail hour and dancing after dinner. The multipurpose room inside for dinner and the amphitheater for our ceremony. The staff was extremely accommodating in helping us to create my vision. I wanted an outdoor living room feel for the patio as the event focal point. We had furniture delivered and set up bistro lighting. It all came together perfectly!

At first I was a bit hesitant to book the DOC, due to it not being open to the public, but this was not an issue at all. Natalie, their event coordinator was extremely helpful with multiple site visits and answering my numerous questions. She was perfect! She was even there for our big day and assisted with our day-of-coordinator that we hired. The two of them ran the show and it went off without a hitch.

I was beyond happy with our experience at the DOC!!

This site was breath taking. We unfortunately had to deal with a monsoon storm and the rain stopped just in time to have our ceremony outside and with the view of Lake Pleasant in the background and the hillsides so green and the clouds it was gorgeous. They were very accommodating and flexible as the weather was unpredictable and possibly going to have it moved indoors. We had a 200+ person wedding planned which fit perfectly ad the price couldn't be beat for the view. Plus we saw wildlife every time we visited (viewing, rehearsal, ceremony). Natalie the point person for weddings was beyond amazing to work with and an absolute pleasure.

Beautiful location that you can do so much with!! Our wedding was in November with 150 guests. Total cost for the Venue was $3500 and included tables, indoor chairs, and black linens that they set up for you. You have a full commercial size kitchen that is available to you and vendors. There is a dorm that you can get ready in and a gorgeous amphitheater for your ceremony. The patio overlooking the lake was my favorite aspect. We brought in bistro lights, cocktail tables, and velvet furniture. The staff was very communicative and professional. Even with it being out at Lake Pleasant, my guests had no issues getting Ubers. We all had cell phone service while we were out there as well. It was one of the few venues that we didn’t have an issue finding a Saturday during prime wedding season in AZ.
