Derrick truly exceeded our expectations in every way!! He is an incredible photographer, very professional, and a pleasure to work with. In the lead-up to the wedding, he was responsive and let us know exactly what to expect. We had complete trust in him and never had to worry about photography.

His personality made him easy to work with, and his flexible approach was perfect for us. We asked Derrick to take the lead in deciding photo location and poses, and he was happy to take charge of it. He made it clear that he wanted to add as little distraction or stress as possible to our wedding.

Being photographed by Derrick is extremely easy. We are far from naturals in front of a camera, and he made us both feel right at home. It was never awkward or difficult, and you can tell that he has an appreciation for what he does. Our bridal party felt similarly at ease with him.

The photos themselves are terrific. He made us look great, and really captured the magic of that day. Looking through the photos, we were surprised to see all the special moments he captured, and we’re so glad that we have permanent memories of them. It’s hard to describe the incredible job and dedication he puts on his work. This is the second family wedding he’s done for us and he never disappoints. Derrick was a wonderful addition to our special day! While working a wedding in the middle of a pandemic maybe difficult for some photographers, you wouldn't know with Derrick. His calm and capable demeanor allowed him to flow with our very hectic day, since we were working around the nap time of my 5 month old nephew and of course trying to be as safe as possible with Covid. He had great ideas for pictures and was amazing at capturing candid photos as well, leaving us with a plethora of beautiful pictures to choose from. I would highly recommend this wonderful photographer for anyone who wants an amazing deal!

We used him for our graduation photos and he helped us capture beautiful photos that came out better than I had even imagined, while being incredibly flexible with my weird hours and even drove out to our location. He made socially distant pictures stunning and fun. Cannot recommend him enough. I have already been recommending him to my friends graduating in December.
