About
Derek Dickenson began his training in Europe in 1979 and moved to California in 1983 to manage the renowned La Couronne restaurant. His passion for food and service led him to open Dereks’ Bistro and Dickenson Fine Catering in 1995. Derek’s Bistro was sold in 2009 so he could focus solely on catering and special events.
It is my pleasure to introduce you to our staff and our services. We are here to assist you in creating the best possible event for you and your guests. Each step in the process will involve you and your vision so that your event, large or small, will be designed around your needs. Whether a sit down Dinner for 400 or an intimate Cocktail Party for 20, every event receives our renowned attention to detail. We promise you excellent food, beautifully presented, and perfectly served.
