Eli has such a fun-loving yet peaceful spirit about him. He put us at ease right away when he starting taking out pictures for our engagement shoot—and we had such a blast! We could tell instantly that he was filled with joy by his work. By the time our wedding came around, we felt comfortable with ourselves in front of the camera. He had an amazing eye, he is beyond gifted, and he sees the world from such a beautiful perspective; it’s reflected in his work and in how he interacts with the people he is photographing. We treasure our engagement and wedding photos so much and we feel so blessed and thankful that we had Eli as our photographer.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience than the one we had with Eli. He listened to our vision from the very beginning and captured it beautifully. He even climbed a mountain for us! It truly felt like he and his wife were old friends joining us for our small, intimate ceremony. We will always cherish the photographs he produced from our day and are so grateful we found Eli!

Not enough good things can be said about Eli. Through every step of our big day, he was always there. Firstly: doing his job with an astounding amount of diligence, passion, focus, and excellence and secondly: assisting us with things during down time in the days previous that were beyond the job that he was there for. I went to bed and when I had woken up in the morning Eli was one of the first people that I saw, working to make our wedding the best, and least stressful day for my wife and I and it truly was. I was convinced that there was no length that Eli would not go to make sure that our wedding was flawless.

While we were taking pictures Eli maintained an attitude of professionalism and also of fun and relaxation. He was always thinking one step ahead which made him very perceptible and able to foresee important events that even my wife and I did not think to deem important. Eli’s ability to create an atmosphere of joy and fun helped out with some of my family members who I know are generally camera shy come out of their shyness. At one point, I had these same camera shy family members and friends asking me when it would be their turn to pose in pictures for Eli. In every way Eli had exceeded my every expectation.

Once we got our breathtaking photo’s back we were blown away by the ease in which billing, access to the photos, and follow up were handled. Overall, I would recommend Eli Defaria Photography to any friend, family member, or other wise. If you're looking for the best quality photography, the best quality service, and if your lucky, the best quality friend, it would be your biggest mistake to pass up an opportunity to work with Eli.
