Dedra was incredible. Hands down.
My original artist fell through so I was frantically scrambling looking for someone. After inquiring all over I finally found Dedra. And even better she was already on Vashon island (where my venue was) and just had a cancellation on my day! It was meant to be.
She was so responsive and happy to answer all of my questions. She made me feel special and taken care of from the moment I made contact with her.
I definitely recommend doing a trial because we were able to not only figure out my hair and makeup, but we got to know each other a bit and it really made things so much better. I felt like I was able to make changes and she was more than happy to make any changes that I wanted. She truly puts the client first.
On the day of the wedding I wasn’t feeling great, but she was still able to make me feel like a bride getting ready. She talked me through my anxieties and took my mind off of everything going on at the venue. I was able to focus on myself and my bridesmaids, and it was amazing!
I was so so so unbelievably happy with my hair and makeup and it lasted all day! Even in the sun, I felt like my makeup wasn’t moving at all. And my hair still looked fantastic at the end of the night.

Deedra was a calming force when she did my hair and makeup for my wedding day. We did not do a consultation however it was clear her experience and eye would give me my best look for the big day. My hair and makeup held up the entire day and I wouldn't have changed a thing.

My six bridesmaids, both moms, and I all had our hair and makeup done by Dedra on our wedding day. She did an incredible job - everyone looked classy and fantastic! I don't wear a lot of makeup normally so I wanted a natural look for the wedding, and Dedra put just the right amount on to make me feel both fancy and still extremely comfortable. She also did an incredible fishtail braid and used custom clips I brought for myself and all my bridesmaids. Dedra was really calm and efficient the day of the wedding. I would recommend her to anyone in the Seattle area!!
