Charlie Decker is fantastic to work with. He's provided beautiful flowers for lots of occasions for my whole family, so I knew he'd do a great job for my wedding, and he did! The centerpieces were beautiful, and the church looked great as well for the ceremony.

I tried Decker's for my Bridal Shower centerpieces because I wasn't 100% sure what type of flowers I wanted for the actual wedding day so I figured the shower was a good time for a test run. I chose orange Gerbers and Lime Green Spider Chrysanthemums (spider mums). They looked awesome with the color of the wedding which was Mermaid. It just made everything look very "summer". Now, when my mom and I ordered the flowers for the center pieces we ordered by stem and cut them/arranged by ourselves. When I made an appointment to go in and discuss the wedding flowers they were very flexible because they seem to always be open, which was great! We sat down, he remembered putting together the order for the shower and even knew our name (even though my step-father went to pick them up, so it's not like he even saw me or my mom before). I knew I wanted the bridesmaids bouquets made up of those two flowers and I knew I wanted the guys boutonniere's made up of lime green button mums. I had no idea what I wanted my bouquet to look like but I knew I wanted color. We threw around some ideas and he ultimately said "trust me, I'll put together something great". He then quoted me, a little more than what I budgeted to pay since my fiance and I were taking care of the costs ourselves. I let him know that and he said it was tough because we had such a large wedding party (7 & 7), so many parents (including stepparents) and 3 grandparents. I understood, but he still met me very very close to my budget. The flowers were delivered to where we were getting ready in plenty of time, before the limo even arrived. I would recommend Decker's to anyone in the area and I'll be sure to use them in the future.

My family has used Decker for a very long time so trusted him when it came to my wedding, what a mistake. I sent him pictures of what I wanted and had multiple sit downs with him about my vision. He could have simply been honest and said he couldn’t replicate my vision and want I wanted how ever he did not. He reassured me it would be beautiful. It was a nightmare. See pictures below. I wanted this beautiful hydrangea garland for the head table and my arch to be covered in hydrangeas. I also wanted 40” center pieces. When he did the hydrangea garland I had to call him and tell him how ridiculous it looked. My photographer said “it looks like her threw scraps together” it did. I asked him to take it off and use the extra vases, we rented 17 I had 13 tables. Some how he didn’t have the extra vases and asked my venue for vases. When questioned he said “you had a balance of $300 that I wiped clean” that simply was not the truth. My mother in law added people and I sat down with him months in advance I told instead of the original 13 tables it might be 17 tables. We agreed that I would give him another $300 towards those extra tables until we found out the actual count. At the final sit down I told him I am only going to have the original number of tables so I shouldn’t owe him anymore money since I was paid off and only gave him a deposit toward the extra tables, he never gave me that extra money back and then decided to tell me I had a balance when he was on the hot seat to try and cover himself. It didn’t make sense. If florals were just messed up that would be one thing, however it was a lot worse than that. The crew he brought to set up were extremely rude and unprofessional. I explained to the lady doing set up the center pieces that there was way too much greenery she replied with “go call him then” in an extremely rude tone then when my maid of honor and bridesmaid went to tell her something she replied with “go in there and figure it out with that” (the that being me) again very rudely. I wish that was the worst part, the lady also became rude to the staff at the venue. She was finishing the awful center pieces and dropping flowers all over the floor, my DJ saw her and said “are you going to pick those up, she said “no who cares it’s just a bad review anyway”. If you think it can’t be get worse it does, Decker himself decided it would be okay to start bad mouthing me in front of my videographer and in front of my the best man, to which both of these people obviously told me what he was saying. He looked at my videographer and said “good luck with that” again calling me a that. I would never use Decker again, he is over priced and honestly gets all his flowers from Wegmans. I see him shopping there all the time getting flowers. Hydrangeas at Wegmans are $8 he triple charges. Save time and get your flowers from a grocery store before you pay this incredibly unprofessional awful human to ruin your wedding day. I truly hope this reaches a bride before her day is ruined by this awful man and his staff.
