We had a wedding of 32 people and everything was absolutely gorgeous. Anna was amazing and the whole venue looked incredible. The kitchen was well equipped and the all the houses were flawless. The only complaint I can think of is the front of the house had some staining on the paint. We had our wedding in front of the house so would’ve been nice for the house to not have staining. Other than that it was pretty unreal. Thank you Anna!!!

When we toured this venue, we knew immediately it was the one. The beautiful vineyard, olive trees and rolling hills literally make the venue, so you don't need to add much for your wedding if you have it here because the location itself is MAJESTIC. Our theme/vibe was dreamy-boho-rustic- vineyard and it most definitely came to life at this venue with the help of Anna and our wedding coordinator, Alysa Monet. We were thrilled we got the opportunity to have our wedding here and to have family and friends from out of state stay on the property. Basically, we treated this as a destination wedding for us and our out-of-town guests (we’re from Monterey, our guests aren’t) and had a mini wedding retreat for 3 nights at this beyond beautiful venue - how much more can you ask for? From the very beginning with planning and coordination, Anna has been a Godsend - always super responsive, contributing advice and being 100% helpful. With her and Alysa Monet's help, we had the wedding of our dreams on a perfect fall day in California. We also loved that when we booked this venue we could choose our own catering (this was HUGE to us since we didn't want to spend an exorbitant amount on food. Most venues you go to, you have to have their catering). We chose Italian Cowboys BBQ catering and they blew it out of the park. Literally the best food I could ever imagine for my wedding, plus it was cost-effective! (Our wedding party kept eating the leftovers too, it was THAT good). Florals also meant a lot to me – we chose Flor De Monterey because my first initial appointment with Vena, the owner, felt like I was talking to a friend. She was extremely accommodating and showed me in person what my bouquet would look like for the most part. She wanted me to trust her though so I wasn’t 100% involved in everything that would be included, but I wouldn’t have chosen anything different. I literally cried during my first look the moment I was handed my bridal bouquet – Vena absolutely nailed it, it was sooo beautiful, as well as the ceremony arrangements). If you’re thinking about having a small, intimate wedding (we had 30 total guests and I don’t regret it AT ALL), don’t hesitate to choose this venue. It is literally PERFECT for mico-weddings – We chose the absolute best venue for our circumstances and it was the- best day of our lives. Family-Friends got to stay with us in one centralized location. CHECK. We got 3 nights worth of celebration instead of 1 day with a crazy expensive site fee. CHECK. We got to spend our special day with ONLY select family/friends. CHECK!!! I really can’t reiterate it enough – De Tierra Events was the best decision of our lives and we encourage any couple wishing to have their mico-wedding there to DO ITTTTTTT!!! Best experience of a lifetime!

De Tierra is stunning. The quiet, natural surroundings, beautifully maintained grounds and service were perfect for our intimate wedding and reception as well as a small family get together the evening before. The homes were extremely clean, comfortable and had additional amenities and unexpected luxuries.

Anna was responsive, flexible and full of advice and tips that helped us to plan a smooth weekend. Even when an unforeseen issue popped up the day of the wedding, she resolved it without adding stress to our day.

Laurel was amazing for the day of, on site management. She was kind, extremely helpful and competent.

My husband and I highly recommend De Tierra for intimate events- everything from the location, to the insanely gorgeous homes, to the impeccable service make for a stress free, stunning day.

Everything about this venue and our experience was perfect. We came from far away (Ontario, Canada) but De Tierra made it so easy and it was the perfect setting for our small 20-person ceremony.

Everything from the private and beautiful location, the professionalism, the amenities, and the welcoming, stress-free experience we had during the entire planning of our wedding was even better than we could have ever imagined. All of our guests were blown away by the Hacienda. I'll always remember my mother's reaction when she walked through those doors, she was in complete aw and started to cry. I have never seen her so full of wonder and bliss. Anyone considering De Tierra as a wedding venue, no matter how big or small the ceremony, shouldn't think twice.

My husband and I had the intimate wedding our our dreams at The Vineyard House on De Tierra's property. This venue is spectacularly beautiful with rolling hills in every direction and gorgeous vineyards with roses and lavender. Anna and Laurel were so accommodating during the entire planning and booking process. I highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to get married in the area. I wish I could do it all over again!

We had a non-traditional wedding, hosting both sides of our immediate families for a long weekend at De Tierra, and could not have asked for a more ideal setting or joyful experience. Anna and Laurel were warm and wonderful, and everyone in our family said they wished we could return every year!

Had such a wonderful experience overall. Anna the host was very accommodating and friendly. Not to mention super organized. We also stayed at the mansion on the site with our close family and friends, it was so convenient to have everything on site, the ceremony and reception.

My husband and I were married here and it was the best day of our lives! It would not have been as seamless and easy if it weren't for the amazing team at De Tierra. They were so friendly, accommodating, relaxed and all around helpful with every detail. They trusted us to do what we wanted with the space and were so encouraging with new ideas that hadn't been done there before. Wonderful experience all around. Wish we could do it all again!

We used De Tierra Events for our wedding in Sept 2018. The space was amazing, the estate is absolutely beautiful. The olive trees and vineyard vines created a gorgeous setting for the wedding. We used the main house courtyard and front lawn for our 210 person wedding. We highly recommend renting the house for the whole weekend. We used it for our wedding party to stay, rehearsal dinner, staging for many prep items, and hair and makeup. The convenience of having the ceremony and reception next to each other was perfect and worked very well for our guests. We had our dance floor outside and rented string lights set up in an umbrella fashion to give the effect of a tent. Overall, we are very pleased with how everything turned out.

I need to write a separate paragraph for Anna Russell and her team. Anna was extremely flexible and helpful throughout the whole process. She had good suggestions and helped us figure out issues as they arose. She was very responsive via email and super helpful the week of the wedding coordinating with our vendors. She was organized and kept all the pieces moving smoothly. We would highly recommend her, her team, and her venue to anyone.

I am appalled at the management of this venue. I had a family emergency and desperately needed to cancel or move my event. Not only was Anna unhelpful, she was cold, inhospitable, and unkind. This venue clearly focuses on making money rather than customer service or client satisfaction. If you want your wedding to be held at a place where the staff actually cares about you, RUN from De Tierra as fast as you can. Booking this venue was a huge regret of mine.
