Vogue Party vibes to intimate adventure elopements and everything in between!
Any of my clients will tell you I say "We're not photographers we are storytellers" and that is my main goal when capturing your moments. I have a strong lean toward editorial-style shooting and maintaining gorgeous skin tones. Not bright and airy but not overly moody either. I just want you to look like the best version of yourself in any lighting scenario. I've been shooting weddings and elopements around the country for the last 8 years and have fallen in love with serving my clients not just on the big day but also leading up to it. I shoot with natural light primarily but don't shy away from some good flash when the vibes call for it!
I am a Husband and Father and love my family dearly. I also have a love and passion for photography, which I stumbled upon a few years ago while working for a non-profit. I never would have guessed that it would lead me to where it has today. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to capture moments of pure joy shooting weddings and elopements here in the beautiful state of New Mexico and around the world!

The Best In The Business
Phenomenal - absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish David delivered. When you hire David you not only add a fantastic and experienced photographer to your wedding repertoire, you add a seasoned wedding coordinator to help build timelines, keep rehearsals on track, and ensure the big day runs smoothly. But that’s not all - you also get a fantastic friend who makes you feel completely comfortable. In short, David professionally ushers you along the entire wedding process.
As soon as we hung up after our free consultation it was clear he was our guy. We hired him on the spot and never once second guessed our decision. Like most people we tend to be awkward in front of cameras, and David put us at ease and coached us through every photograph - but most importantly he made it fun.
For our engagement shoot, David flew out to Las Vegas and worked his magic in 100 degree heat, never once missing a beat. He made us feel so comfortable and natural that we forgot we were even being photographed.
Then came our wedding in Cabo San Lucas. David didn’t just capture the day, he captured the entire experience. From the joy and laughter to the tears and quiet moments in between, he preserved it all in the most beautiful way. His photos tell our story perfectly, and we’ll cherish them forever.

Great Experience with David!
David was a fantastic wedding photographer! You’ll first notice is his positive energy that instantly lifts the mood and makes the experience exciting. This is especially helpful since being in front of the camera for so long can feel awkward. His attention to composition and body language is outstanding, with every shot clearly shaped through an artistic eye.
What stood out most was how much he cared about our vision. He was happy to meet with us multiple times before the wedding, always listening carefully to our priorities and seamlessly blending them with his own style. He even took the feedback from our engagement shoot to heart, making sure the bride’s vibrant red hair color was captured true-to-life, which meant a lot. On the wedding day, he created a comfortable, vibrant atmosphere that allowed us (and our guests) to just enjoy the moment while he worked his magic. The photos perfectly capture the vibe of our day, and our friends and family haven’t stopped raving about them.

The best value spent on the entire wedding
We had the absolute pleasure of working with David Jesse Photography for our wedding on May 24, 2025—and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. From the moment he arrived, he brought an incredible blend of professionalism, creativity, and calm confidence that set the tone for the day.
He captured every important moment beautifully and made it so we barely ever noticed him. What stood out most, though, was his intuition—he always seemed to know exactly what to say and do at just the right time. Like pinning the wedding dress up at the reception, he was right there with his “save the wedding” box.
A few memorable moments with David was the time all the bridesmaids wanted to get a special pose photo with the bride, David politely and appropriately told them he was the photographer. They quickly knew he would get the special shots that they wanted and trusted him. It was clear he was there to advocate for us and make sure we had the experience (and photos!) we deserved—and we’re so grateful for that.
Our photos turned out stunning. Every image is filled with emotion, light, and authenticity. We’ll treasure them for a lifetime.

Truly the best photographer we could have asked for.
Before we had even secured David as our photographer, he was already on our side offering tips and tricks to help ease the wedding stress. Once we booked him, he hit the ground running. He helped us create a schedule for the day, pointed out little details we were overlooking, and made sure he fully understood which photos were most important to us so he could capture them just as we envisioned.
Fast forward to the big day!
The photographers went above and beyond just taking pictures. When I was overwhelmed getting into my dress and the stress started creeping in, David was right there helping me stay grounded, relax, and reminding me everything was okay. They made sure I stayed hydrated and fed, which honestly hadn’t even crossed my mind. They came in and felt like lifelong friends, instantly dissolving any awkwardness from meeting new people or being camera shy.
A fun tidbit: our band needed someone who could do a loud whistle, and when no one else could, David stepped up and joined in giving everyone unforgettable memories and some great laughs. And this isn’t even getting to the photos yet!
The photos were AMAZING.
The quality, the quantity. Everything was pure perfection in my eyes. When posing, the photographers were beyond patient with us while getting everyone situated, even the rowdy boys.
I cannot express how elated I was with the service from David and his crew. I would recommend his team to anyone looking for EPIC wedding photos.

Absolute the best experience
David was absolutely everything I hope for in a photographer. For both our engagement and wedding photos, the style was exactly what I wanted while perfectly capturing our sense of adventure and fun. He was super clear in his communications, knew how to get the job done, but was also super approachable and really a great hang. Our wedding coordinator really enjoyed working with him, and you know that girl has seen everything. He also didn't freak out when I suggested going on a last minute boat ride and was not a backseat driver with a lady captain :)

Sweetheart photographer
David was not our photographer, he was our best friend pictorializing our love story(: He is an absolute sweetheart! We had a destination wedding and he single handedly got it done. Always checking in on what WE wanted out of our big day. The family and friends also loved him, had people asking how long we had been friends because we seemed so close! Could not ask for a better experience! And the results are to die for! Had us looking like models that belonged in a wedding magazine lol. I get to relive my wedding day every time I look at those photographs. thank you for being our friend and capturing one of the most important events in our life!🤍

David and his team are marvelous and without needing to say so very talented. His work speaks for itself. We feel so fortunate that he was available for our small grassroots wedding, which was straight from our hearts and all about love, family, and friends. David and Bobby captured all of that and so much more. We wanted our photos to narrate all small and big details, and that is exactly what our amazing photos do. David just makes you and your entire wedding party feel at ease. When he says he doesn’t do packages he means it. He is there to support and guide you not only on the day of but with the whole process. He helped us build our timeline which was such a huge relief, from there he ensured that the hustle and bustle of the day had built-in moments for just the two of us. Looking at our photos is reliving one of the best days of our lives. David is now like family and is already booked for my daughter’s upcoming day.
