We are absolutely blown away by our wedding photos! This was our first time having professional pictures taken, and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. At first, I felt very awkward in front of the camera but Leon made the entire experience so fun and effortless. Not only did he capture every special moment perfectly, but he also made the entire process so enjoyable. We are so grateful to have had him photograph our big day and will definitely be hiring him again in the future. If you’re looking for an incredible photographer, we can’t recommend Leon enough!!!

Leon is such an amazing photographer and we couldn't be happier with our pictures! I can’t even remember now how I came across Cloak Photography. Initially, I thought he was located in Los Angeles, but I still reached out and found out that he relocated to New Mexico around or just before the pandemic. I saw a lot of Leon’s work online through his website and Instagram page, and his photos are phenomenal. Leon and I spoke a couple times before my husband and I even had our engagement photo session. He was easy and friendly to talk to, and also I could tell very knowledgeable about photography and working weddings. I am so happy that we chose a less commonly utilized space in Albuquerque to take our engagement photos (one of Leon’s recommendations) – the Bio Park. There were so many great spots to take photos, and it was fun to explore the park and find new places to take photos which provided incredible backdrops. Leon was very prepared with plenty of professional equipment, and we could also tell that he was very skilled in his art including understanding things like perspective, use natural lighting, and composition. He directed us well with how and where to pose, and also made us feel so comfortable with lots of fun, light conversation. We had this same experience on our wedding day when we took our couple photos after the ceremony. For both the engagement session and wedding day, Leon delivered our photos so quickly. I remember seeing the first photo he sent us – a stylized shoot from our engagement session – and having some tears come to my eyes. Our photos are all amazing and I cannot wait to begin printing some to hang up in our home!

Leon and Mariano did an excellent job with our wedding in September! Leon was relaxed and easy going so it didn't feel like someone was taking pictures of us all the time. Great at capturing the Santa Fe culture! The pictures turned out great! Definitely worth every penny!

Leon did an amazing job on my wedding photos! I always get so nervous about taking photos, because of this they never turn out nice. Leon was not only very professional, but a lot of fun to be around, which allowed for me to relax and enjoy taking photos. Not only did all of us have a lot of fun taking photos (hiding behind rocks, being silly with my sister, etc), but the photos are phenomenal! In addition to not only getting incredible photos of myself, husband and bridal party. Leon got some amazing photos of our guests that captured their personalities, intimate moments and much more! I have never seen other wedding photographers get such authentic photos of guests as well as the bridal party. I can not wait to share these photos with our guests!

Cloak Photography was professional, skillful, and creative.
