Phenomenal - absolutely phenomenal! From start to finish David delivered. When you hire David you not only add a fantastic and experienced photographer to your wedding repertoire, you add a seasoned wedding coordinator to help build timelines, keep rehearsals on track, and ensure the big day runs smoothly. But that’s not all - you also get a fantastic friend who makes you feel completely comfortable. In short, David professionally ushers you along the entire wedding process.
As soon as we hung up after our free consultation it was clear he was our guy. We hired him on the spot and never once second guessed our decision. Like most people we tend to be awkward in front of cameras, and David put us at ease and coached us through every photograph - but most importantly he made it fun.
For our engagement shoot, David flew out to Las Vegas and worked his magic in 100 degree heat, never once missing a beat. He made us feel so comfortable and natural that we forgot we were even being photographed.
Then came our wedding in Cabo San Lucas. David didn’t just capture the day, he captured the entire experience. From the joy and laughter to the tears and quiet moments in between, he preserved it all in the most beautiful way. His photos tell our story perfectly, and we’ll cherish them forever.
We honestly couldn’t have asked any more out of David, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time getting to know and work with him. If there’s one thing you do for your wedding, HIRE HIM! You’ll certainly be happy you did. -

You cannot go wrong with David, nor will you regret a thing about choosing him. Not only did we love him, everyone at our wedding loved him! A year later, people are still talking about what an amazing job our photographer did.
From the engagement shoot to the wedding planning to the wedding photos, I literally could not have asked for anything more. He went out of his way to help out and make sure everything went smoothly. David is absolutely worth every penny! I cannot get over the amazing job he did. He was so personable and fit right in with everyone! I’m not joking when I say EVERYONE loved him!! He is just absolutely amazing and I can’t say enough good things about him. Team David all the way!! -

Before we had even secured David as our photographer, he was already on our side offering tips and tricks to help ease the wedding stress. Once we booked him, he hit the ground running. He helped us create a schedule for the day, pointed out little details we were overlooking, and made sure he fully understood which photos were most important to us so he could capture them just as we envisioned.
Fast forward to the big day!
The photographers went above and beyond just taking pictures. When I was overwhelmed getting into my dress and the stress started creeping in, David was right there helping me stay grounded, relax, and reminding me everything was okay. They made sure I stayed hydrated and fed, which honestly hadn’t even crossed my mind. They came in and felt like lifelong friends, instantly dissolving any awkwardness from meeting new people or being camera shy.
A fun tidbit: our band needed someone who could do a loud whistle, and when no one else could, David stepped up and joined in giving everyone unforgettable memories and some great laughs. And this isn’t even getting to the photos yet!
The photos were AMAZING.
The quality, the quantity. Everything was pure perfection in my eyes. When posing, the photographers were beyond patient with us while getting everyone situated, even the rowdy boys.
I cannot express how elated I was with the service from David and his crew. I would recommend his team to anyone looking for EPIC wedding photos. -

David was absolutely everything I hope for in a photographer. For both our engagement and wedding photos, the style was exactly what I wanted while perfectly capturing our sense of adventure and fun. He was super clear in his communications, knew how to get the job done, but was also super approachable and really a great hang. Our wedding coordinator really enjoyed working with him, and you know that girl has seen everything. He also didn't freak out when I suggested going on a last minute boat ride and was not a backseat driver with a lady captain :) -

David and his team are marvelous and without needing to say so very talented. His work speaks for itself. We feel so fortunate that he was available for our small grassroots wedding, which was straight from our hearts and all about love, family, and friends. David and Bobby captured all of that and so much more. We wanted our photos to narrate all small and big details, and that is exactly what our amazing photos do. David just makes you and your entire wedding party feel at ease. When he says he doesn’t do packages he means it. He is there to support and guide you not only on the day of but with the whole process. He helped us build our timeline which was such a huge relief, from there he ensured that the hustle and bustle of the day had built-in moments for just the two of us. Looking at our photos is reliving one of the best days of our lives. David is now like family and is already booked for my daughter’s upcoming day. We had a magical wedding in Taos, NM this summer. We are an adventurous and outdoorsy couple and David was a great fit for our vibes and what we were looking for. Our engagement photos involved hiking up sand dunes during sunset and our wedding photos involved hiking up a waterfall! David was up for anything and everything and went with the flow well. From the very first text I sent to David to see if he was available for our wedding, he was responsive, kind, and enthusiastic. We hired him the next day. Though David didn’t shoot our wedding directly, the two photographers from his team that led the charge were phenomenal. David edited and sent me our photos in under two weeks, and we were blown away with the sheer quantity of high quality photos. We hoped to have a good number of gems, and we ended up with dozens and dozens. I highly recommend him! -

On our wedding day, David and his crew were on time and immediately went to work curating the gallery of our dreams. He snapped photos that we requested throughout the day and kept us so on time that we were EARLY. Having that extra 20 minutes to hang out with our wedding party prior to walking down the aisle was so crucial in prepping for the ceremony. David stayed through the entirety of our ceremony and reception capturing photos of us and our guests that showed everyone's personality and how much fun they were having! Oh, and to top it all off - he got us our gallery of completely edited photos FOUR DAYS after our wedding! Truly incredible. Our guests loved going thru the gallery and are still posting photos from the day months later. I would absolutely hire David and his crew again and I recommend him for your wedding! 10/10!! -

HIRE THIS MAN IMMEDIATELY!! There are no words that can explain how thankful I am that we booked David to share our most meaningful days and capture our love story. David was so accommodating with the engagement shoots as he was able to get my awkward husband to have some fun with pictures all while keeping a constant playful banter with myself! Then he went above and beyond by following us down to Riviera Maya, Mexico December 26th-January 2nd for the wedding and all the other festivities they got to join in on with our closest friends and family. David was willing to find the best locations, leading us over tide pools, uneven rocks, abandoned bridges, and even golf cart rides. His vision was shown through the AMAZING photos and it was an honor to have him along to lead "Wobble" on the dance floor at the reception! We will always be grateful for the photos he shared and the time we all spent together! My husband and I hit the jackpot when we chose David Goldman as our wedding photographer. Two of our dearest friends highly recommended him and sang his praises. So we agreed to take a zoom with David and see if he was the right fit. On our first call together he was so professional and warm. David was transparent and up front about his service. We could tell he was experienced and organized. Most importantly, he was easy to talk to. We wanted a photographer that we meshed well with, because that is what warrants amazing photos. It’s more than just skill using a camera. You need someone who knows what to do, what the client wants and how to execute the vision while simultaneously making people feel confident on the other side of the lens.
David agreed to coming early to our all-inclusive resort wedding. We wanted him to hang out and get to know us and our wedding guests before the big day. A few days before the wedding, we brought about 30 wedding guests on a catamaran excursion to an island. We asked David to come and snap some photos along the way. What we didn’t anticipate was that David would become our friend in the process. He got along so well with us and our guests. He fit right in with everyone and we had a blast on the island and eventually at our wedding too. I think this is one of the reasons why our wedding photos are so fun. David could walk up to anyone and maintain or encourage the excitement. Everyone felt like they could continue being their authentic selves while having their photo snapped by David. Guests continued being wild and free as David aptly captured candids.
Thanks to David not only being a talented photographer, but also an outstanding human, we can look back at our wedding photos and be transported right back to the magic of those moments.

Best photographer and best vibes!
We can’t say enough positive things about David’s work! He not only captured every beautiful moment on our special day but was an amazing person to have around all. Our family is blown away by how great the photos came out and how great it is to re-live those special moments through David’s photos. We’re so lucky we came across his Instagram and set up that first FaceTime call. In our first meeting, David made sure to tell us as much as he can about his process, himself, and answer any questions we might have had to make sure we felt good about our decision. When David met us in the foothills for our engagement shoot it was like meeting a friend for a hike as we laughed, talked, and felt more and more comfortable with our choice in photographer. The engagement photos coming out so beautifully was the cherry on top and made us more than excited for the wedding day. When the wedding finally came he made sure to make us feel as at ease as you can during a wedding, comfortable with everything, and so happy throughout the day. We knew he was capturing every moment that mattered and even spontaneously made a “first touch” moment happen that wasn’t planned! He made us feel so special and beautiful in every second of the day. Other than the once in a lifetime photos, David kept the party going with us while jumping in to dance, and laugh along like he was just another close friend or family member. Having trusted vendors is something everyone tells you to prioritize but I didn’t realize how important it was until I saw how great David and his team made the day. We’re beyond thankful we found David!! -

From the very first discussion, I knew David was our wedding photographer. As a person that has never hired a photographer before for a wedding or otherwise, I had no idea what to expect or what I was looking for. Turns out, I needed someone to walk me through what the process would look like from start to finish while also having really straightforward costs.
With David Jesse Photography I received amazing, professional photographs and also a vastly experienced friend who guided me through the day and HONESTLY advised on what would work...and what judt wouldn't while ensuring my vision and goals for the day were met. Wedding planning was stressful for me and I had no idea what I was doing. Once I had David on board (a person who did know what they were doing), it immediately got easier. Strongly recommend David!!
Strongly recommend David Jesse Photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. We were looking for a photographer with a photojournalistic, candid style with colors that were true to life. We were so lucky to find David because not only does he take gorgeous photos, but he was so much more than a photographer on our wedding day. He is super positive, friendly, and upbeat, and gave us so much advice and encouragement leading up to/on the wedding day. Ahead of the wedding he offered advice on our timeline, helped us adjust arrival times for vendors, recommended adding a sunset photo session, and reassured us about things. On the actual wedding day he went above and beyond just photographing the wedding - tying my husband’s tie for him, pinning on everyone’s boutonnière, helping us pose for photos, and overall being a reassuring, positive presence. He is so easygoing and rolled with it when little things went wrong, and he kept smiling even when we asked him for a group photo of 20 people in mixed lighting outside at the end of the night. We love the photos we ended up with and will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives! We would recommend him to all our friends. -

Phenomenal
David Jesse was the first vendor we approached during a wedding convention and our hearts were set on David being our photographer because of how gorgeous his pictures were. David went out of his way to be more than a vendor, but to create a friendship throughout the whole wedding process. My husband and I felt so nervous having our engagement photos being taken, but David made it feel fun to be ourselves in front of the camera. Inbetween this time, he was quick to respond and help with any question I had for him. During wedding week, he had so many ideas for us that I had never thought of and also went above and beyond on my ideas I had for him. David was there in a heartbeat to help with the little things on wedding day that made a huge impact for us. Most importantly, David captured every single emotion on our wedding day that we get to cherish forever. The pictures don’t feel real with how beautiful they are and I will recommend David Jesse Photography to every engaged couple every chance I can! David and his assistant were the easiest of all our wedding vendors to work with. He is so creative, thinks outside of the box to get unique shots, and we especially loved that there was no time limit for our wedding day, which greatly reduced our stress during wedding planning and allowed us to get pics of us getting ready, the ceremony, and reception which were all at separate locations (lots of photographers we looked at would only do about 6-8 hours max. which was going to limit our ability to have getting ready pics). We love our wedding pictures (which only took 3 weeks to get!) and our family and friends keep saying how much they love our pictures too!
He made us feel so comfortable and never forced during our engagement session and wedding day shoots (which says a lot because neither me or my husband have ever had a photo shoot prior so we were a little nervous). Aside from how great of a photographer he is, he’s also a great person, so easy to get along with and easy to get a hold of whenever needed. After going to multiple wedding shows and doing lots of research online, we both instantly knew we wanted to book with David the night we met him, and we would do it again in a heartbeat! -

Ummmm... it's hard to even share the words on how WELL David KILLED our wedding photos. He , has a personality that makes you feel like you've known him his whole life. He was so responsive and quick to answer any questions I had prior to our wedding day. I instantly got texts and FaceTime from him, making him feel so personable. On the day of the wedding he was totally on it, made us feel comfortable, and even helped us focus on each other (it's so easy to get distracted by the wrong things on your wedding day). I just received our gallery and when I look at the photos I still can't believe they are from MY wedding. I researched so long to find the right photographer, I saw so many different galleries of beautiful weddings and just prayed that my wedding day would be captured the same way... but David did them even better than anything I was comparing them to. I will forever be grateful that David was our wedding photographer -

David is an incredible photographer and produces excellent work but more than that, he’s a fantastic person and such a pleasure to work with. His photography speaks for itself, but, as I have come to learn, a wedding photographer is more than just someone taking your picture. My wife and I are not the most photogenic people, but David is so effortlessly down to earth, genuine, easy to talk to, funny and kind, and he was really able to get the best out of us. He has a gift in making you feel relaxed, comfortable, and confident. Meeting David in person for the first time felt like running into an old friend you haven’t seen for a long time and picking up right where you left off. The amount of comfort we felt working with him was truly as if we’d known him forever.
Moreover, David was an absolute professional, very responsive, prompt, and clear about expectations. He even went above and beyond and offered his knowledge of event planning by helping us with our wedding day schedule! We love how he does business and doesn’t have “packages” or tiered offerings with time constraints. He was incredibly available and always willing to text, talk, email or video chat (which we did multiple times leading up to the wedding). The included engagement photoshoot offered with his services was priceless. You get to meet him, see how he works, see how fun he is, and this instills comfort and confidence so that you can have the best time on your wedding day. Call it learned “machismo” or “fragile masculinity,” but I can sometimes have a hard time being vulnerable around other men. David broke down those barriers immediately and made me feel comfortable in what, for me, would normally be a very uncomfortable situation. Getting to have that intimate time with your loved one and David made for such a better experience come wedding day. I would choose David for my photography needs 11 out of 10 times. If he is available for your date, book him! I promise, you will not be disappointed. -

Captured the Essence of Us and our Dream Day
We cannot say enough kind words about David and his pure talent. He eloquently captured our intimate day and our story so beautifully. His pictures truly do reflect our love story and the essence of our intimate ceremony that we had dreamed. We are able to relive these moments and memories by the pictures David captured. Not only did he play a huge part in our wedding day by being our photographer, but he also became a dear friend. He went above and beyond through the planning process, day of, and even after delivering our sneak peaks and full album so timely. He even helped us pick our ceremony site since we planned from out of town! From making time to meet in person when I flew out to visit, to answering numerous calls and questions, to perfectly executing our dream day. Masterclass in wedding photography, and just all around great human
If you want a masterclass in how to be an exceptional human in your profession, passion, and in life, please pick David. He instantly becomes your friend and captures your most special and intimate wedding moments with such grace and such ease. His work is the best I’ve seen in the industry, and we honestly feel so lucky to have met him and been able to work with him - both for our engagement shoot in White Sands National Park, and for our Hindu wedding outside of Santa Fe, NM. From a professional standpoint, he provides clear and comfortable art direction when needed to give you your dream shot. When he’s taking candids, he’s blending in, even dancing on the dance floor with your guests, and still capturing gorgeous shots from a first-person perspective. On a personal note, we really just loved David’s company. He went out of his way to spend days on site with us and get to know our friends and families. Our wedding guests would not stop commenting about how much they loved David and what a good soul he is. He deserves every bit of praise and we really can’t wait for another opportunity to work with him again! -

David is not only a wildly talented photographer (his stunning photos will show you that), but he takes great care in ensuring that your story is beautifully told through photos, and is so much fun to work with. My husband and I are incredibly grateful to have found a photographer whose style perfectly complimented our own earthy style. He took wonderful care of us leading up to, during, and after our big day.
We immediately loved David's work upon viewing his online galleries. Our wedding was set to be outdoors, so we were searching for a photographer whose photos have a balance between framing/highlighting the subjects/moment while respecting the integrity of the natural surrounding beauty. We didn't want our skin tones to be overexposed and washed out, or the natural backgrounds to get lost. David's photos have that balance.
David responded to our inquiry the same day we reached out. We had a video chat with him, and were so excited to learn that the person behind the lens is communicative, straight-forward, friendly and fun, and truly takes to heart the role he plays in capturing such a big life event. After 'meeting' David, we were not only happy and relieved to have booked the photographer we both wanted, but had a comforting feeling that we were in good hands.
Our engagement shoot way more fun than we expected it to be. It was our first time doing a photo shoot together so we were a bit nervous, but David did a great job breaking the ice and making us feel comfortable. We were blown away by photos and even more excited for the wedding day!
On our wedding day, David was there for every moment we wanted captured from beginning to end. He even gave some great wedding day advice and walked us through cutting our cake! He cares that you have the best day ever!
Our wedding photos are incredible! David worked with us to ensure everything was to our liking and the results were exactly what we wanted. We've received so much love and compliments on our photos!

Above and beyond what you'd expect from a photographer
The first time we talked to David about his availability for our wedding, it was like we were talking to someone we already knew. The whole time we worked with him, he approached any obstacle as an opportunity to make something cool happen. As soon as he showed up at our venue, he sent us to get ready and took on all of the responsibilities of a day-of coordinator to make sure that everything was set up and in place. When our wedding day was unexpectedly warm, he worked with our venue to move our small ceremony indoors.
He did an incredible job of finding photographic locations and walking us through poses for our portraits—our pictures turned out so good that we can’t pick our favorites! He also got us our engagement and wedding photos more quickly than we were expecting.
There are some elements of our wedding that we could’ve changed and still had an incredible day. We couldn’t have had the wedding we imagined without David. -

David was phenomenal! From our very first correspondence, he FaceTimed me to make it more personal. And was very professional and enthusiastic about the Hindu wedding we had. My husband and I hired David for our wedding and could not be happier with that decision. It felt like we invited one of our friends who happens to be a photographer. He blended well into the party and made sure that Tom and I took little times to enjoy ourselves instead of just moving into each scheduled thing. That being said, he also helped to make sure that we stayed on schedule the entire night. We had so many guest compliment us on how kind and helpful David was. All I can say is WOW. David exceeded all of my expectations as a photographer for both my wedding and engagement shoot. He showed up to the engagement shoot with a broken foot in a boot and still somehow managed to hike up a mountain and take the most incredible photos I have ever seen. My husband and I are AWKWARD and he hates to have his picture taken. David made us feel comfortable and helped to embrace the goofy that made our photos everything I wanted them to be. David made time to sit down during his "day job" and help us with our wedding schedule, which he was not obligated to do. In addition, after I had a few too many mimosas while getting ready, in comes David with water and gatorade to help me out. What other photographer does that?! To say that he went above and beyond for us is an understatement. THANK YOU DAVID!!! BEST PHOTOGRAPHER EVER!!!!!! -

TL;DR: David's the best at what he does - you should absolutely hire him and you'll be happy that you did! I've had the pleasure of working with David in several capacities over the years. He's one of the most passionate people I know and when he finds something that he loves, he jumps in with both feet and learns how to do it better than anyone else. The last project I hired David for was for a military-themed photoshoot which was massive. We had dozens of models, a makeup artist, and the whole shebang. It took three days to complete the shoot and David handled it like a rockstar. We ended up with several hundred finished photos and I couldn't have been happier with the quality and final result. Everyone who was involved loved working with David because he was very direct and clear as to what everyone was supposed to do - a true master in his profession. -

This was truly the MOST perfect experience for my husband and myself. We are definitely not “naturals” in front of the camera and all of our past photo shoots from other photographers look so forced.
