THIS BAND ROCKS. As much as we love a great DJ, live music is the way to go if you are getting married. My wife saw them perform at a friends' wedding a few years ago and had to make sure they played at ours. 2nd best decision of our lives was to hire David's band. We had around 150 people help us celebrate, David and his bandmates had 140 of them up and dancing from dinner until dawn it seemed like. From the initial phone call, we knew he was what we were looking for. His energy alone can keep a crowd entertained. He and one other member were willing to help with the music during our ceremony, as well as cocktail hour. We wanted to shell out for 3 things at our wedding, the band was one of them. It was worth every freaking penny and then some. We heard a range of music from "the office" theme song to "give it away" by the chili peppers. Like we said before, this band rocks in every way. Dave was super open to suggestions for specific songs or types of music we liked, and they even took time to learn and perform new songs for our ceremony and first dance. They used all 8 pieces to perfection, and every one of them was so incredibly talented. The singers had pipes so clean that they could put plumbers out of business. I will recommend them 10 times out of 10 to anyone who is looking for live music for their special day. Every single guest at our wedding that we've talked to since that day brings up the band and how much they loved them. We cannot say enough amazing things about how perfect they help make our wedding unforgettable, and we hope you get that same chance. Now we need to come up with another excuse to hire them again in the future!

The David clark band truly made our wedding the best night of our lives! We had seen the David Clark band play at a friends wedding and knew we had to have them at our wedding. David was fantastic to work with during the planning process. At our wedding, David and the band played all the best music and kept everyone out on the dance floor until the very last song. We could not recommend them enough!

Saw David Clark and the Renegades at a family friend's wedding and grabbed their business card immediately. My wife and I knew we wanted to "splurge" on a band over a DJ. As musicians ourselves, we prefer live music and the more personal touch. From the beginning, David was a pleasure to work with as we put together the song selections for the milestones and general dance music. When COVID struck, David was one of our few constants. He was an absolute professional through everything, assuring us we'd have our day (eventually) and he'd be there (and honored our original rate/contract). Nearly two years later, we finally had our wedding. When we talk to people about our wedding, it's the band they remember most. Other wedding bands I've seen are deafening and feel like they are trying to have a personal concert. David Clark and the Renegades did everything perfectly to make our wedding special. Beautiful background music during ceremony, cocktail hour, and while guests ate. David was an excellent MC, keeping things organized and upbeat. The musicians were fantastic. The songs were flawlessly performed. They learned several songs to play at our key moments. The singers were able to handle all types of music we had selected. Our dance floor was always full and energetic right to the very end of the event. And those who did stay back at the tables were still able to hear each other. I'm very grateful to David for learning and practicing with me over Zoom, a surprise song I sang to my bride. David Clark and the Renegades truly made our wedding special.

My aunt recommended David Clark and the Renegades after seeing them at a wedding. I am so glad we listened to her because they were the best wedding band I have ever seen! They had 5 diverse singers and could basically do anything from oldies to country to rap. David Clark is the lead singer of a Billy Joel cover band so we took advantage and had him sing plenty of Billy Joel. Everyone loved the Billy Joel. He sounded just like him! This band really made our whole wedding reception. David Clark was so nice and such good vibes. We loved his enthusiasm. I can not say enough good things about this band. They listened to any request we had perfectly. We didn't make too many requests because we wanted to let them do their thing and they did AMAZING! There were 2 band members that played instruments during cocktail hour. We had a 5 hour reception following with a Viennese hour and the dance floor was packed from start to finish. No one wanted to stop dancing. I could not be more happy with this band! Highly recommend!!!

My husband and I knew that we wanted a band for our wedding. We both love music and so the band was top priority to be the best at our wedding. We knew that the music needed to be great and we wanted our guests to be dancing all night. David Clark and The Renegades did not disappoint!!
From the moment we met David, we felt like he had this energy and love for playing music and he would make our wedding memorable. He worked with us to create the set list for our wedding day but was never pushy or said flat out no to something we asked. We were very particular about the songs we wanted and didn’t want to hear on our wedding. I mean we were texting him songs we wanted to hear up until a week before the wedding and he played them. He even had his band learn to play an EDM song by our favorite DJ which was as surprise to our friends at the wedding and it sounded AMAZING!
On our wedding night, our dance floor was packed from beginning to end. We are still getting compliments on our band and how fun and energetic they were. They played rock and roll songs, Bruno Mars and Bob Marley all flawlessly. We are so happy we chose David Clark and The Renegades – our only regret is the party didn’t last longer!!

Working with David Clark was a dream. One of the ONLY things I cared about for my wedding was the music. I have been throwing parties for years, and I knew a party is not a party without good music. If the food is ok, flowers are meh and venue is just ok, a party can be saved by the music.

My venue The Royalton on the Greens, recommended David Clark. They said during weddings with David Clark & The Renegades they had to beg him to stop playing so they could serve dinner!

David worked with me and my now husband during the entire process to make an amazing set list. I was very specific about what songs I wanted and David was so helpful, giving suggestions but never pushy.

The day of the wedding he came early and was just such a pleasure to be around. I can’t say enough how important it is to have happy, fun, good people around you on your wedding day and David was just that. I really could not believe how amazing they sounded. Every singer was AMAZING, seamlessly transitioning from 70s 80s 90s and current hits. David even rapped Jay-Z! We really rocked the house down. The dance floor was packed and we never stopped dancing all night. I was even sneaking out to the dance floor during dinner to dance to elton john songs. David Clark and the Renegades is the BEST wedding band ever. I AM SOOOOO HAPPY WE CHOOSE THEM. We still have not stopped getting questions from guests about who the band was so they can book them for their own events--the ULTIMATE compliment!!

We originally saw Renegades at a friend’s wedding about 8 years ago, and remembering how much we enjoyed them, decided to hire them for our daughter’s wedding on 9/27/19. They did not disappoint!! They were absolutely wonderful, even better than we remembered!! They kept the dance floor packed the entire night and we received so many compliments from our guests about how great they were! And David is such a great guy, always a pleasure to deal with and so accommodating. We had the full 10 piece band, they’re worth every penny!!

The best wedding band I have ever met! My husband and I have seen a lot of wedding bands and these guys beat them all. They are all amazing at what they do and keep the dance floor going all night long. I was worried because we had such a small guest count, only about 110 people, that the dance floor was going to look empty, but David and the band had the floor packed from start to finish. But David wasn't just great on the day of, working with him leading up to the big day was easy and stress free. He had great ideas of where to use some of the songs I was thinking of as well as come up with great ideas for where I missing stuff. Thanks for such an amazing time!

About 6 years ago I went to my cousins wedding. It was one of the first weddings I’d been to but remember thinking “Wow. That band is phenomenal,” My then boyfriend, now husband, and I turned to each other and said if we ever got married - we need that band. Well the time came when we got engaged and as soon we had our date we said we need to book David Clark and the Renegades.

David is fantastic to work with - he is friendly, passionate about what he does, and so genuinely excited about your wedding it makes you feel like you’ve been best friends with him forever. When it came close to the wedding and time to pick songs we wanted, he even came into NYC to meet with us and spent about an hour going through what we like, don’t like, and songs we definitely wanted played (Bruce! Pitbull! Last Dance!) And honestly, we trust David so much we told him just play the classics, do what he feels is right - and he did not let us down.

Day of the wedding, the ceremony music brought happy tears to both our eyes. And then for the reception…wow. You forget it’s not the real bands playing they sound that good - so lively, so full, and all just sound like this is the first wedding they’re doing, that it’s the most fun they could be having.

I am not lying when I say EVERY SINGLE PERSON we speak to about our wedding says “That band was the best wedding band we’ve ever heard”. And we cannot disagree, David Clark and the Renegades do not disappoint! We had people complimenting them throughout the night, mid-dancing coming over to say they are so good. During dinner they played Billy Joel, Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen so well 1. You thought it was the real singer and 2. The whole room started clapping for them.

No need to look any further for wedding bands. They were the only ones we called and booked because we knew they are the best. I wish I could have our wedding all over again just so we could party with the Renegades again! Thank you all for an amazing experience!!!

David Clark and the Renegades absolutely made our wedding night! We were referred to David Clark by our venue (Royalton on the Greens) and we could not have chosen a more talented, pitch perfect, versatile band! From our first phone conversation, to the night of our wedding David was a pleasure to work with. We sent him our first dance video as it was a mix of 2 songs and the band executed it perfectly. They even learned a special Irish song as my father in law is from Ireland, which he greatly appreciated. All of our guests are still raving about David Clark and the Renegades and our wedding was over two weeks ago. Plus my best friend just booked them for her wedding at Temple Avodah in June after seeing them perform at our wedding. Thank you for making our wedding night unforgettable!!!!
