Joel also photographed our Indian engagement ceremony and both sides were very very happy with the pictures. EVERY SHOT was amazing, not just one or two. Great guy, fun to work with, and an eye for detail. I'm super super picky, and I couldn't have picked someone better myself. We couldn't have imagined a better photographer for our wedding day. Alicia and my intention was to keep our wedding as simple and down-to-earth as possible. Our budget was tight and our wedding party was relatively small. However, the one thing we knew for certain was that we wanted the very best photographer for this special day. It is the record; it is a large part of the memory. I had reviewed so many wedding photographers' shoots and while they were beautiful, they didn't seem to suit our needs. I wanted someone who could tell a story, who could capture the moment; someone bold and artistic. What a tall order! When I was first recommended to Joel, I reviewed his website and immediately knew he could deliver what we desired. Joel is everything you could want in a photographer! He has a great eye for capturing amazing shots. His style is so unique from all the other wedding photographers out there, and his photos are jaw-dropping beautiful - I love every shot he took! Not only is he talented, though, his calm demeanor always helped to put me at rest. I was not an easy client to deal with, but he always reassured me and calmed me down. I was able to enjoy my wedding knowing that Joel was there to capture all the special moments! HIGHLY recommend!

Joel was great! Our pictures turned out fabulously, and we couldn't have been happy. He has an eye for bringing in all of the colors in the environment, bringing out your best features. My fiance and I just did my engagement shoot with the one and only Joel and I cant begin to describe how amazing he is! Working with Joel is the opposite of WORK! He is always down to play, create, and he photographs with his heart as well as his eyes. He is truly an artist in every sense of the word, gentle to work with, and has a natural ability to put clients at ease. I've been lucky enough to shoot with him more than once and every time they've come out looking like something a higher priced photographer would create...PLUS the images that he took are the ones I use for all my default social media profiles. He is truly a genius and a really, really cool dude!

My experience with photographer Joel Danto was wonderful! I would highly recommend Joel for any photography needs. Joel photographed our wedding and being a same sex couple who have been together 28 years, I wasn't interested in the typical "wedding package" and the associated costs. I shared this sentiment with several photographers who just came back with their typical wedding package. Joel heard what I wanted and offered a terrific solution that didn't cost thousands. The pictures look great, exactly what I was hoping for. Everyone commented on how great they thought Joel just ‘fit in’ to the event. He caught some great candid shots that we can share with our family. We were looking at all the pictures last night and my husband thought Joel provided us with some great Christmas presents that we can give this year :-).

Joel takes beautiful, high quality pictures. He takes great candid pictures and also sets up great table pictures along with small groups and couples. I highly recommend him to use for events to capture the spirit of the event from start to finish.
