DJ Matthew was a blast! He really was a fantastic DJ and put in the time and effort to make our wedding amazing. He had phone consultations and surprises for the wedding that made it even more fun. The tool to pick our songs was very helpful and fun to go through and pick our songs. There's a searchable database of songs that are popular for wedding events such as processional, first dance, bouquet toss, etc. We highly recommend Dansations - great job!

Matthew was a great DJ. He was very responsive to our emails and also was very flexible to have two meetings with us prior to our event. He made sure he knows the whole program for our wedding.

Music for my husband and I always brings any event to life. We had a beautiful summer beach wedding at Lake Tahoe, and Matthew's performance both at the wedding site and in pre-planning was invaluable to us. Professional, charismatic and a perfectionist to boot, we were so lucky to have a friend introduce us. Matthew was helpful in identifying the moments during the ceremony and reception that would require special music selection - and although he listened attentively to our needs, he also made some great recommendations that we were thrilled with! What I really liked was that he comfortably stepped in and acted as a coordinator at our reception since the rest of us were having WAY too much FUN to pay attention to the details :) Since our reception site was on a public beach, he had to deal with sand and a generator - no problem! We felt blessed to have guests and non-guests on the beach join us in dancing and sharing our JOY & LOVE - you could feel it in the air :) Our sincere thanks to Matthew and Dansations for making our special day so very memorable.

Matthew, the owner and operator of Dansations DJ’s was a friend of my now-husband's from school, so in the beginning we were happy to work with a friend. Prior to the wedding day, Matthew met with us to go over our ideas about the reception, pouring over all of the details about who was who, who was doing what and what he could offer us in terms of hosting/emceeing duties. Once we met with him, we knew we were set - we didn't want to have to worry about those kinds of things ourselves on our wedding day. We provided sentimental CD's to be included in the playlist and Matthew would have played any song we asked for, if we had asked, but we left it up to him. On the day of the wedding, he did a fantastic job, helping guests to know what to do at each point during the reception, adding some lighthearted humor and even keeping track of my purse! At the end of the night when I was sitting in the empty tent giving my feet a rest and there were still bottles of wine and champagne and gifts to load into our car, Matthew rolled up his sleeves and helped my husband with all of that. Without question, Matthew of Dansations DJ's was an exceptional DJ and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a DJ/emcee for weddings and other events.

Mathew really listens and delivers more of what is asked. I do not of a company in his field that will do this. Mathew takes on a job as if it is for himself or family. If you have an event and was told we can not provide your required service. Look no more. Mathew is a one shop D.J. spot. He cares a lot about the job he does for every client and has fun doing it.

Matthew did a great job for our wedding, definitely recommend his services! He was very flexible the day of by accommodating to some last minute changes for our grand entrance. The playlist was excellent, he knew what we were looking for and threw in some delightful surprises too.
