Proud husband and father to 2 girls, and testicular cancer survivor. I am obsessed with health, traveling, vintage guitars, great food and singing Motown classics!

My approach to weddings is that of a close friend. I’m here to document your day exactly how it unfolds, like a photojournalist, while minding the most intimate moments that I hold dear. I love creating beautiful moments naturally, and by taking a hands on approach for a romantic, fine art feel to my work. I bring a calming positivity to your wedding day, and a lot of ENERGY to propel my couples through their day.

Through my cancer journey, I’ve been given the gift of seeing life through a unique lens of gratitude, for moments big and small, all while connecting with my couples on a deeper level. I love serving, because everyone deserves the best day ever.

The most magical photographer experience.

Daniel absolutely ROCKS! We booked him for our wedding in Oceanside, CA and could not have been more satisfied. From the beginning of reaching out to him all the way to the last thing frame he shot on our big day Daniel was a consummate professional and a true joy to work with.

Daniel and his crew operated seamlessly the day of our wedding. It was truly impressive how they weren’t even noticeable but still seemed to capture all of the right moments. He perfectly captured and was a huge part of the best day of our lives.

We cannot recommend him enough!

Daniel is extremely helpful, flexible, incredibly talented, and just a fun guy to hang out with. In terms of our needs as a couple, everything was met! His skills as a photographer highlights even the smallest details that you work so hard to include. Additionally, he was amazing when it came to making our ideas for photos a reality. He's really great at highlighting the moments that you want to remember for the rest of your life, and he encourages and allows you to enjoy your day. We can't thank him enough, and we'd choose him over and over again!

Daniel is simply amazing! He is very personable and is easy to get along with and work with. He makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera and just spending time with him is so fun! He is unique and creative but also very flexible and open to ideas. Daniel shot our engagement pictures as well as our wedding, and I could not be more pleased with the whole experience! The photos are incredible, he is a breeze to work with and he is so easy to get in contact with. I received a ton of complements not only on the photos but how Daniel perfectly balanced professionalism and having a blast. He makes sure you are enjoying yourself while still producing amazing photographs. Daniel truly enjoys what he does and it shines through in his work.

Daniel was absolutely AMAZING! My hubby and I could not have found a more perfect photographer for our wedding. He was creative, professional, kind and sensitive= the exact combination of traits that a photographer shooting a wedding should have. Daniel caught all the best of the best moments of our entire day and we are eternally grateful for him! He is truly unforgettable and our photos are so timeless. I can only hope that all the future brides out here in California will come across Daniel and hire him, they will be beyond ecstatic at the results! We can't wait to hire him in the future for our mom-to-be photos and new baby/family photos ; ) We love you Daniel!

Daniel is an amazing photographer! Not only does he have amazing photography skills, he also has excellent customer service. He is true to his work, and does not fail to deliver what he promises. The day of our wedding, he was completely attentive to myself (the bride) as well as my husbands need. We would definitely recommend him to anyone who is searching for a great photographer who truly cares about his customers.

wow! Daniel Cruz was the most personal, laid back, yet professional photographer I'd dealt with. He made me feel so comfortable when I felt a little awkward. He had amazing ideas which turned into brilliant photos that I will have forever. And for that I'm so grateful. My pictures turned out 100% how I dreamed. He's an absolute amazing person and photographer!
